I've experienced this same issue in both beta builds 8075 and 8076, I couldn't even rip subtitles correctly with the current released version so I never even tried until these betas were available. When I rip at either of the above project specs, and seemingly at any video/audio bitrate, the audio is in the incorrect channels. It seems that the center channel is in the left rear and there is absolutely nothing in the right rear, and the front L/R sound like they should be the rear L/R.
I also notice that the .mkv when played back is zoomed out to fill the display aspect ratio, which obviously results in loss of the subtitle text and stretching of the picture. With identical settings, the .mt2s file plays back in the correct aspect ratio.
System is as follows:
Samsung SH-L123R DVD Drive
AMD Radeon HD 6850 video card (ripping with DXVA)
Enable Lightening-Recording is enabled
Has anyone experienced this, or have any advice that I might try? Here is a screen shot of the settings that have the audio issue.
Thank you,
Matt
