Hi HartS2k
I never noticed the typo, just wanted you to copy and paste your log.
CBR929
Here are some more logs from this morning. The first entry is from the optical drive/DVD of 12 Angry Men (which copied onto the HDD and plays fine through the whole movie so I don't think it is a problem with the DVD). The setting was iPad without multichannel. The second entry is for The Town from a copy on the HDD. Again, the movie plays fine from the copy on the HDD but will not finish converting. It's setting is for the AppleTV set at 160kbps with Dolby Prologic II. It never finished an had to be cancelled.
Any suggestions? I'm having problems with DVD's I've already converted fine also. I can't figure out and have no idea where to go from here. Thanks for the help.

I've been using this product since April and have encoded hundreds of movies and am happy with those copies. Since the beginning of October/end of September, I haven't been able to encode but a couple of discs without problems. The problems have included the process not finishing, having an actual failure, or the videos not matching up with the audio. I have reinstalled the software, I have gone back to previous versions, I have checked to make sure my video card is up to date on software and I have run integrity checks on my hard drives. I am at a loss for what to do next.
I use the Apple TV and iPad profiles pretty often but I always downmix to Stereo. Just for testing try one with Stereo at 160kbps just to see? I never see this using Stero audio.
Tried to do 12 Angry Men again, still not finishing. Changing to Stereo instead of Multichannel worked on 2 conversions but not on any others. Here is the log for the last one:
I am having essentially the same problem with ripping practically any DVD using 8120 or 8126. Each DVD freezes at the same % during the rip, 4.6%, 12.3%, 7.6% repeatedly and consistantly. It doesnt matter what DVD I use, so far all have frozen during rip. This may sound redundent from one of my other posts, but all of the same rips using 8.0.8.5 are good, save for a few with lagging audio.
Whats happening guys? So many problems since 8085!

Try 8.1.28. Some fixes for not finishing are in there. I have not seen the issue with 8.1.28.
8129 ripped Tron Legacy completely, beautiful video, but without audio. The subtitles were there, but no audio. Maybe because I changed the default 64 bit audio to the highest selection of 320 bits. Whats up with the lowly 64 bit audio default in 8129 cut to 2 channels, when 8085 has 448bit and 5.1 audio as default playing through 6 channels? Are you trying to make up for the rip not finishing by defaulting to the lowest audio setting? Not very good for my 7.1 speakers, that sound fantastic with 8085
8120 would not finish the Tron Legacy rip, pausing every time at 4.6% times 3 attempts
8085 ripped beautiful video and syncronized audio for supurb playback on ps3plus 7.1 audio. Looks as good as the original DVD
One good thing is that I did not get pausing playback with the DVD rips like I have with every BDrip after 8085
Which begs my prior question. What happened since 8085? It seems like you are going backwards trying to make up for a less reliable product.
It seems like a prior reliable product has become unreliable to intermittent at best.

No Audio with this DVD rip using 8129 (why was previously 6 channel audio that played fantastic in 8085 reduced to 2 channel audio in 8129?)

Beauitiful 7.1 or 5.1 audio and video with 8085 below. The sound is like being at the IMAX when I first saw and heard the movie.

Please do not ever get rid of the 8085 download on your site, in case my 8085 file on my computer becomes corrupted. Beyond 8085, I do not have a need for your product.
I can't speak for 8.1.29 but 8.1.28 has worked fine for me, including audio. 8.1.28 is my current code and except for audo sync issues on 3 particular Blu_Rays, it's been the best realease since 8.1.0.0. I use 8.1.0.0 as my fallback code. It too has been solid (along with 8.0.8.5).
Thanks for the great advice jbinkley60. I tried to download those from the latest beta release and the latest official releases, but when I choose 8128 or any of them, it only downloads the latest beta 8129. And the same with choosing 8100, it just downloads the latest official version 8126.
Do you or anyone know how I can get the 8100 and 8128 files without being forced to download the latest files, despite selecting earlier versions?
I ran into this on a movie. It ran along like gangbusters until about 12 or 13% then the CPU cycled on all cores and then just quit altogether, no CPU activity at all. I tried the same movie with two other programs in my toolbox and it completed successfully. See attached screenshot:
