BD Ripper (3D Plus) This is War not working still

Still having troubles with "This means War". Am I doing something wrong or is there an update that I'm missing?

I set the GPU to disable but it still doesn't work. Mine says error reading disk but all the files show up. When I try to rip it just sits there.

    Now what?

A resd error is typically a problem reading the disc. Have you tried cleaning it ?

Yes I do, as I keep all installers as they take up very little room on a HDD

I never copy so I only use Ripper. I tried it first with 8.1.7.8 and it didn't work. Then I upgraded it to the latest release and it still doesn't work.

              Hi gtsnake
As stated above you're receiving a read error which usually means a dirty or scratched disc, or a defective disc.
              Try cleaning the disc.

Your drive also has a firmware update you will find it here http://www.firmwarehq.com/download_1..._SB04.exe.html

NOTE: If you do not know how to flash your drive do not do it, it will render your drive useless.
              Hope this helps

Alright I'll get a new disk. But the old one looked pretty spotless.

How difficult can it be to update the new firmware? Download and install right?

I've had discs which looked perfectly clean but would hang at certain spots. Upon cleaning them with a disc cleaner, they worked fine. It's only happened on a few but in both cases they were brand new discs and came that way out of the package.

                    Hi gtsnake
Yes, most come with an installer and are pretty straight forward.

You take all responsibility if something goes wrong.

Ok, I got a new disc and it's still the same problem so it's not the disk.....
