I've tried using both the physical disc and a ripped copy of the structure (Full Disc). I've also tried several different discs, both physical and rip. All have the same effect: the drop down lists don't 'drop down' in the Ripper tab. They work just fine in the Copy tab though.
Thinking it may have been some artifact left over from a previous installation of DVDFab, I've gone so far as to do a complete clean OS install of Windows 8 Pro (64-bit). The only piece of software on the machine is DVDFab (after MS patches) so there's nothing else that could be interfering with it.
I've also considered that it might have been the display driver. I installed DVDFab using Microsoft's driver (for my nvidia GT240) and then the newest driver from nvidia. Neither of which changed anything.
I can revert back to 9.0.3.1 and everything works as it should. Remove it and put 9.0.3.2 on and it's back to being broken. So there has to something amiss with 9.0.3.2.
