Audio out of sync

Having put in my observations with regarding audio sync, last night I tried another piece of software using the iso I had created with dvdfab.....result no audio sync problem...so the problem appears to be with dvdfab.
I convert either to mp4 or mkv and stream through ums to my ps3, at present this is purely for testing purposes until I decide how/what I want to use for a htc.

I tried 9.0.3.5 and that kept crashing. I tried to update to 9.0.3.6 and it even crashed in the middle of the update. I eventually updated to 9.0.3.6 and it isn't crashing now. At first I thought that the audio sync problems had disappeared, but they haven't. I convert straight from DVD to either AVI, or MP4 and either way I am still getting audio sync problems. Also conversion speed is taking about twice as long as it was before. Interestingly, I have found that if I play a film back using Windows Media player, it looks okay. Not perfect, but okay. If I play a film using GOM Player, it will start okay and then as the films plays, the audio becomes gradually more and more out of sync. If I skip through a film using GOM player, or VLC, the audio becomes very badly out of sync. I don't have any of those problems, using any player, with films converted using version 8 QT.
I have used DVDFAB for many years and I never had any problems until I updated to 9.0.3.4. Since then my problems have gone from bad to worse. I have got versions 6 and 8 and they both work fine. I found that 9.0.2.6 also works fine. I am getting increasingly fed up with updating to the latest version, only to find that my problems have either got worse, or simply haven't changed and then having to go back to an earlier version.
Perhaps I am doing something wrong? Perhaps there is a setting which I need to adjust and the audio sync will be fine again? I have never had to adjust any settings before and DVDFAB has always worked perfectly for me previously. Please can someone help? Thank you.

Some of the latest version I've installed I had to go into settings and redo them, as they were not transferred from the previous version.
Check your settings, and also post your internal log.

Similar to me Slosh, have used DVDFAB since version 3, version 8 took some tinkering to get it right but it worked, I've now given up on 9 except for creating an iso of the main movie.

BTW have you tried VLC, I find this appears to be the best player to show audio sync problems and subtitles, particularly forced subs, something else that 9 can't seem to handle

Yes I have tried VLC and it seems just as bad as GOM player to me, but that could just be something to do with my personal settings. The best results I have had are with Windows Media Player. I have tried converting using 9.0.3.7 and even with Windows Media Player, the audio is out by a few seconds. I have sent an email with my log attached, to service@dvdfab.com. Hopefully they will be able to sort out my issues.
I have been using DVDFAB 9 for a while and it was fine up until recently. I don't really want to go back to using version 8 because although I don't have any audio sync issues, there are other problems with 8QT which I experience from time to time.

I have checked my settings and they look okay to me. I don't think I had changed my settings from the default in DVD9 anyway. I have emailed my log with a description of my problem to service@dvdfab.com.

I found an older version on my hard drive (9.0.2.6) and installed that. My audio sync problems disappeared. However, I have just updated to 9.0.3.4 and the audio sync issues are back and seem to be worse than before. I am therefore going back to 9.0.2.6 again.

I have the same problem, but for me any version after 9.0.3.... is hit and miss. Sometimes the audio is ok, sometimes not.

I have just found something interesting. I have downloaded Media Info to check on the movies that I am trying to back up (The ones with Audio Sync problems) and have found that they are all Interlaced. My understanding was that DVDFAB was supposed to be able to detect this and tick the box 'De-interlace' but this is not happening and the result is a back up with perfect picture but Audio out of sync. If I then re rip, but this time De-interlace, I get a back up with perfect picture (Same as before) but this time the audio is in sync. Please be aware, that I can only do this with version 9.0.3.8, if I try it with other versions I still have audio sync problems.
