I have updated my drive firmware as was recommended and received the same result as before. 3dman7 did mention something that I didn't realize and that was that the movie should have 28 chapters and mine is only showing 16. I can view the end of the movie and it plays inside the editor in dvdfab to the end credits. I went in and turned off the keep chapters intact hoping it would make a difference and it did not. I even turned on the lightning feature that 3dman7 mentioned.
I am leary to think it is the bd rom as I just purchased this one in the last month because my other one was having read problems.
I do appreciate all the help. I think it might just be that I was burning these disks with old firmware and video drivers and that this created bad disks. For whatever reason even though the entire movie is on the disk the chapters are not so the conversion is failing.
