DVD Ripper H.265 10bit CUDA Encoding?

I have a GT 1030 in my main ripping rig, and a GTX 1080 in my main rig that I'm using for testing of this issue.

On my main rig, which I used for testing since the GTX 1080 is on the supported list for CUDA based encoding and decoding.
    Processor: i7 7700k
    RAM: 64GB DDR4
GPU: EVGA GTX 1080 FTW2 iCX

    For All Tests:
    • Disc Used: Zootopia (Blu-Ray)

Here's an imgur album since the forum shrunk the images to be unreadable.

    Test 1:
    - Preset:
    MP4.H265
    - Resulting FPS: ~60
    - CPU Utilization: ~25%
    - GPU Utilization: ~6-10% Click image for larger version Name:	chrome_2017-08-24_02-30-12.png Views:	1 Size:	30.1 KB ID:	340686

    Test 2:
    - Preset:
    MKV.H265
    - All Results matched that of previous test. (MKV was used to rule out MKV as the issue) Click image for larger version Name:	GPU-Z_2017-08-24_02-27-45.png Views:	1 Size:	29.0 KB ID:	340687

    Test 3:
    - Preset:
MKV.H265.10bit.Sub (Same as the default MKV.H265.10bit, but with the subtitles stripped out to idx/sub files)
    - Resulting FPS: ~15
    - CPU Utilization: Pegged at 100%
    - GPU Utilization: 1% (AKA: None)
    - Note: Only "decoding acceleration" is enabled according to the task queue when doing a 10bit rip. The GTX 1080 supports up to 10bit 8192 x 8192 encoding and 12bit 8192 x 8192 decoding, so both encoding and decoding should be enabled for 10bit profiles, should it not? hi,
    Thanks for your kind work.
    1. MKV.H265.10bit will use soft encode for now.
GTX1080 support h265 10bit hardware enocde, It's being developed. And will be released in recent weeks.
    2. Almost all Profile (you call Preset, such as MKV.H265.10bit) can change subtitle type to remux.

Please post your logs the default location is:
    For DVDFab 13: C:\Users\User Name\My Documents\DVDFab\DVDFab13\Log
    For StreamFab: C:\Users\User Name\My Documents\DVDFab\StreamFab\log
Please use attachment button and attach your most recent, Internal log and post right here.
If it's the burning issue, please also attach burn log.

    Thanks!

      Hello Wilson,

I changed the subtitle type to split sub/idx files and saved that profile with a unique name (MKV.H265.10bit.Sub), that way I can reference it from the command line. Works perfectly.

Thanks so much for the info, I'll look forward to the update soon!

Would you also be the one to talk to about the /DEST command line function not working as intended?
