But the audio was in sync from start to finish.
Remember, I don't have the sync issue with all DVDs. Something's triggering the issue. My test disc right now is The Departed.
I have a test waiting for me to check from 6.2.2.0, and I also just started a rip on 7.0.4.0 using your Samsung profile.
One downside of the Kodak box is that it won't support the MKV container anyway, so that rip was more about looking for a solution to the audio sync issue first, then worrying about getting it to work with the container I need.
fwiw, The results above were from playing back the MKV rip on my PC right after encode using VLCPlayer. The PC is an AMD quadcore, 2.6Ghz, 4gig RAM, Win7 64 eencoding to a NAS through 100mbps Ethernet.
