    This is not part of the issue, it might be the issue, or you may need AviSynth for it. Check your PM.

      sync problem

      DakotaDevil,

      I hate to tell you, but you may be out of luck for now. I have been watching this sync problem in the forum since Feb 2010. Hoping for a fix, but nothing in the updates ever address syncing. Look in the forum under syncing and you will see this is a big problem.
      I have only had luck using mediainfo on one video that didnt convert correctly.
      I would just keep watching for a update that finally fixes the syncing problem.
      Other than the syncing problem with DVDFAB, you just cant find a easier or better DVD program.

      Good luck!

        We'll considering DVD to Mobile is a significant part of FAB I consider this a BIG problem with s l o w development resolution. This should have been fixed months ago and was introduced with the ver 7.x series of application "upgrades". Waiting patiently for the "fix".

          sync problems

          The sync problem goes back to to ver 6 or earlier. I dont remember when the moblie option became out. I think the biggest problem is most people were like me. When the mobile option came out, they used it on a few things, not everything. Now that you can buy a media player for $100.00 or less, a lot more people are converting to the mobile to save space on thier hard drives and are converting everthing they can get thier hands on. I have converted a lot of my video collection and I had only a few sync problems. Although it does seem that more of the current titles are having problems such as planet 51, superman and batman, the princes and the frog are my most recent problems.
          But im sure the programer at dvdfab will fix the problem sooner or later.
          We just have to hang in there.

            @MRL_DVDFab
            @jrgibson55

            Problem of OP is far from what you are talking about and it been solved. Your problem is local in nature, not global DVDFab problem, and should be handled as local problem. There are tens of thousands DVDFab users who doesn't have any problem, and that fact just confirming my statement. You can say that software have a problem when all or majority having same issue. In this case it's not. I personally converting my every DVD and BD into two formats - MKV and MP4 (for iPhone), and I NEVER had a problem if I do conversion right!!!!
            So, I would suggest instead of complaining and "waiting for a miracle" take some steps to figure out what is wrong with your system.
            Please do not contaminate this thread with unrelated issues.

              Sorry, If I steped on some toes.
              but my computer is not the problem. I have the same results on two totally different computers and trying different ver. of DVDFAB.
              Also, there are 8 pages of postings complaining of sync problems, so that doesnt sound like a isolated problem to me. From your words sounds like we are on our own.

                From my words sounds like:
                (1) this thread has nothing to do with you issues, whatever it might be,
                (2) you hijacking this thread, and it's against forum rules,
                (3) 8-pages thread you referring to is written over last month or so by mainly four people, and last 6 pages of that manuscript are pretty much like "are we there yet". That does sounds like isolated problem to me.

                  Guys....

                  The A/V sync problem is being seriously being looked at by the developers and involves a total rewrite of the engine.

                  We do not have any timeframe!

                  That said, the problem seems to occur only when using specific profiles.

                  I have absolutely no problems with MKV & AVI profiles at all. Perfect.

                  As there seems to be no meaningful addition to this thread other than "What's happening?" & general moaning and bitching, I am closing this thread.
