I am trying to convert home video (MT2) files for appleTV and iPad use. Original aspect ratio is 16:9. When I convert with dvdfab, the picture gets compressed into a 4:3 ratio (distored) with black bars on each side. Any suggestions? Thanks

Yes, I did try that as well as multiple iterations of cropping etc. No such luck.Comment

I would suggest that your recorder is not setting the aspect ratio tag correctly.
