Encoding halts after 1 frame
I am having what seems to be the same issue as the original poster. Using a DVD of a TV show with 3 episodes on it. Episode 1 and 3, when I start their encoding, I get some initial CPU activity and about 1FPS and then the CPU activity halts and FPS slowly dies to 0.0 and no further progress is made, despite running the encoding for multiple hours. Episode 2 (when processed individually) encodes perfectly fine. All episodes are interlaced and using version 6.2.1.8 is also unsuccessful.
Any workarounds? Any ETA on a fix for this?

So far, only this disk has caused this issue.
OS is XP SP3, CPU is an Intel Q9450 2.66GHz quad core, 3G of RAM
Have tried using internal and external HDD. DVD is internal.
DVD is new. I thought I was experiencing an issue with my old DVD drive so I purchased a new one. Having identical issue with new drive. No other changes have been made.
Fresh new installs of both DVDFab7 and DVDFab6. Wanted to ensure it wasn't a bit-rot issue.
