BD Ripper (3D Plus) Stops working at beginning of second pass

    Hi all there,

I'm new to this product and forum but what I love is the trial version because unfortunately I have a problem. I've read a bit to check if anyone has had the same problem but didn't find anything.

    I have 2 probs:
    1. (very minor) I asked to install english version but it installed dutch version anyway (perhaps because I have Windows 7 in dutch, but why let me the choice if I don't have any anyway). But it's really a minor "problem" for me.

    2. I tried to BD -> Mobile (.mkv) in 2 passes. Max file size 4550 Mb, resolution 1280 x 720. Main movie only and AC-3 sound only.
DVDFab stops working at beginning of 2nd pass (50,62 % done).
I tried to do this several times, it always stops there.

What I love about this product is the user-friendly interface and 8 cores that are all working between 60 and 100%

    Here is some info:
    computer: Sony Vaio VPCF11S1E
    processor: Intel Core i7cpu Q720@1.60GHz 1.60 GHz
    ram: 6Gb
Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit
    Graphics:
    NVidia GeForce GT 330M
Nvdidia PhysX gpu accelerator: off (standard it was off, I don't know if I should put it on)
    BD station: Matshita BD-CMB UJ141AS
Hard disk: 80GB used, 379 GB free

In the directory where I was going to put the .mkv file, there are 2 files: SAW.Title2.idx (2kb) and SAW.Title2.sub (4kb).

Try turning off your gpu acceleration and do a test.

Thanks for that quick reply GregiBoy, but the gpu acceleration is off, I've never put it on.

        Then try the latest beta.

Thanks again for your help. DVDFab's advice is to install the latest graphics driver when installing the beta version. This was the trick because it worked in my case.

I then uninstalled the beta version and turned back to the official version of DVDFab and did the same process. This also worked.

(My) Conclusion (and I'm sure this will interest the support guys and perhaps the FAQ): when you have this kind of problem, try first to update your graphics drivers. It might work without having to install a newer version of DVDFab.
