DVD Copy DVD Fab won't mount DVD's

This looks like a great product and it looks just like the wonderful PC version. I downloaded and installed version 8.1.3.5 2011-09-29 QtB. I appreciate the opportunity to assist in testing this product.

I inserted a DVD movie and it seemed to rip correctly and it created the Video BUP, IFO and VOB files. When I attempted to 'write data' the program would not find blank dvd in either internal or external drives. My only option was to create another file. I am running MacOS 10.6.8 with 4GB of Memory and 500 GB hard drive.

I also noted that blank dvd's that previously showed in finder were no longer visible. I quit DVDfab and manually ejected the disks using disk utility. I found that I could not eject the disks until I quit DVD fab. I'm also seeing that DVD Fab is not recognizing my blank disks.

I updated my user interface and DVDfab asked to restart. I said yes, application quit but didn't restart. I received the following error message:
(is there a way to do this as an attachment rather than including a large dump with message? Max text is 13000 characters, my dump and message came to 32685 characters.

    Similar problem...

Attached is the internal dvd logfile and the apple report.

Basically, it starts to load the DVD, then appearing like the end of analyzing the title, it suddenly quits and crashes.

I think issue is that DVDfab for Mac doesn't support DVD-R yet. Posting from Fengtao's announcement that preview is out...scroll way down to bottom...(I didn't when I sent msg)
      "Some limits:
Cannot eject DVD disc when DVDFab is running.
      Cannot use "Video Effect Settings".
DVD-ROM or BD-ROM drive is not supported well, we suggest to use DVD-RW or BD-RW drive."

        I know about that limitation.

I am using a USB-based DVDRW for all my testing...until they support the internal Apple SuperDrive (which is a CDRW/DVDRW) on the iMAC.

For Some reason, it is not recognized as a usable drive with DVDFab yet.

          Hi there,
Burning is not supported yet, which is the reason why you can't use write data.
Please wait for the fixed release.

Thank you. I burned the file using Toast Titanium 10 and disk played perfectly, so DVD ripping process seems to be working ok.
