    100% agree. MKV is the way to go. I also noticed that more and more DVD/BD players have MKV capability off external USB device...

      Well, Media Players have had it for a long time !!!



      Honestly, why buy a BR/DVD player any more and get subjected to what Sony/Samsung/LG deign to allow you to play???
