Could you please check with the programmers on these two titles please. Didn't they test?
I've spent hours & many blanks troubleshooting and pinning the problem to dvdfab.
As mentioned above I did 'full' copies.

The problem for Big Sick is a new protection issue, I have reproduced it and provided a workaround. The same one might work for the other title you mention if it has the same 'start at chapter 2' symptom in a Main Movie ripped from a Full Disc folder.

Are above handled for 'main'?

Any chance of getting 'heads up' that this is 'protected' instead of wasting the burn? until you get a handle on this.

Please use the copy mode you prefer to copy and save the movie to local hard drive and use software player to playback the output file to see the result. If all okay, load the copy to Copy-clone/Burn mode to burn to blank media.
If got the same problem as the "Big Sick", please zip the whole log folder and post it here.
Also, please open the original movie disc in windows explorer, copy all the ifo and bup files under VIDEO_TS folder and send it to us.
