Burn Problem - the big sick

I always copy dvd, full, to hard drive, then burn main movie to blank dvd. This has worked every time.
Now with 'the big sick' when playing the burnt copy starts, hangs for 20 seconds, and then start to play.
I tried with 2 different computers (with different burners), & 2 different full copies with the same problem. Also used different media.
What is happening is the main copy is starting at chapter 2, hangs, then continues!

I suspect the same problem, with 'the sense of an ending'.

There seem to be several versions of this disc. The developers will need to see the DVDFab internal log session from the Full Disc and Main Movie rips. Instructions for supplying them are linked in my sig, below. Log sessions begin with a version and date stamp and can end in various ways. The most recent sessions are near the end of the file, which you can edit with Notebook.

Was in a quandary. Had just run out of TYs and switched to vbs! Never happed before. Blamed media and even replaced my burner!
Burn of 'full' plays just fine. Will get the logs off soon
'main' just can't find the beginning. there is a lot of promo in chapter 1?

meant burned main from new full copies to the hd.
never suspected dvdfab.

I have one of the DVDs of this title and will try to duplicate what you are seeing. Please supply the logs when you can, they're important in identifying the disc version you have and seeing what DVDFab is doing with it.

Try this:
Load the Full Disc folder as a Source in Main Movie copy mode
When it finishes loading, click the Chose Other Titles button and select Title 6
Write it to a folder or burn to disc and try playback again.

There is a problem with this disc, but the above steps should serve as a workaround until there is a permanent fix.

'a sense of an ending' is doing exactly the same thing! except about a 5 second stall.

no wonder I've wasted so much time. two movies, with the same problem in the same week, & just started new media!! never seen before. unless some have started at chapter 2, no stall, and I've missed it.

The problem for Big Sick is a new protection issue, I have reproduced it and provided a workaround. The same one might work for the other title you mention if it has the same 'start at chapter 2' symptom in a Main Movie ripped from a Full Disc folder.
