not yet to try with .84, In .83 after process done bdinfo show "10 bits / SDR / BT.2020" in second vedio.
when i burn on disc and play on lg up970, lg up970 detect as dolby vision.
but i think it's still problem because there are ghosting in some sence.

dolby vision UHD ==> dolby vision mkv (add sound and add sup subtitle) ==> UHD Creator ==> UHD Copy 25G

Ok... 10.0.8.4 works great... now just to fix Dolby Vision. But as ganz said, UHD player (and also DVDfab UHD Copy) is recognizing the second video track as Dolby Vision.

Eac3to is reporting strange things...

Now with DVDFab x64 10.0.8.4, HDR works - but files with atmos no (freeze while encoding)

Again the disappointment is great. Again, the file is no longer playable with the UB 900 after 36 sec. Same result as when ripping. The movie stops and nothing works anymore. Now I have been reporting this problem for weeks (skipping). But no change.Incidentally, if you burn the Complete UHD (without treatment by DVDFAB) the UHD runs without problems with the UB900 also Triple Layer.
Is there anybody who can play a created with DVDFAB UHD with the UB 900? Please developer takes care of the problem. Already have X times sent log files, but it does not change anything ... an no answers to solve the problem...

Test with mkv dolby vision. bdinfo show 10bits/bt2020 in first video stream and sdr/bt2020 in second video stream.
i burn into disc and test on UHD player LG970. It's detect Dolby Vision.

1. " HDR sign" problem should be fix, in the coming DVDFab 10.0.8.4 x64 .
2. UHD Copy will copy Dolby Vision stream.
3. TrueHD in mkv maybe to ac3. TrueHD in m2ts will be Truehd , you got it.
4. We will try reproduce " subtitles" problem.

3. yeah. i got it working now. found a way how to preserve it, quite complicated, but you saw the BDinfo with TrueHD.
4. maybe only some glich... in some results, there are bitrates. don't know what is happening.

for DV support in creator, should be as simple as that... 1st video stream in mkv/m2ts -> video, if 2nd video stream in the same m2ts/mkv (because we can simply demux the DV stream also and mux it to both) -> dolby vision enhancement layer. mux it (as you are doind in UHD Copy module), add records to mpls and so on and should be good.

another questing... can I find somewhere exact specs for encoding UHD BD compliant video with x265?

1. BDInfo HDR maybe a problem, it is not a must for most UHD Player. OPPO 203 also can detect HDR.

Problem with TrueHD Atmos too. It's converted to Dolby Digital

This was discussed. If Atmos track has no CORE AC3, that will be converted to AC3 (AC3 CORE ist mandatory for BD m2ts). See my BDinfo from created UHD:

Problems are two.. no HDR sign in VIDEO STREAM... should be HDR between 10 bits and BT.2020.
And no subtitles bitrate... strange...

Your find way to make Dolby Vision Video and Used for UHD Creator.
This is not support yet.
dolby vision will be support soon.

For TrueHD+Atmos in mkv most not have core stream, which is need for BD m2ts.
So we use AC3 for now. This will improve later.

Not sure, if the "great work" about Dolby Vision in MKV as a second video stream was a sarcasm. If not, thanks and you're welcome!!! My TrueHD+Atmos was WITH AC3 core and was converted also. maybe i can try from M2TS. There can be problem with the primary video stream, as you can see, no HDR info in BDinfo report, only BT.2020. Oppo probably resolves the HDR signal, but other player can have problem.

And one more question...maybe off-topic. Are you compressing or copying the Dolby Vision stream in UHD Copy module?
