    Nvidia CUDA issue

Two days ago I was able to convert some videos to H265 12bit using CUDA, but today I am unable to. Now DVDFab appears to be using my PC software when I try to do it, yet I didn't change anything in the Common Settings? I even tried converting the same videos as before, but still no luck?

I have since tried reinstalling DVDFab, still the same? Changed settings, still nothing?

I didn't make any changes on my PC other than reinstalling DVDFab, & I have tried to do a similar experiment using another program to see if there was a fault with my Nvidia card, but it worked perfectly?

Also, when trying to convert my videos using either H265 or H264 settings DVDFab is wanting to change the resolution to 768x576, other than my default of 720x576. Previously I had the option to Copy Video Same As Source. If I want to convert my video back to plain old MKV CUDA still works with those settings, but now it doesn't with either H264 or H265 (even though it did 2 days ago)?????

Hello, we need more information to check your issue. Please refer to this post to provide us the feedback ID: DVDFab Forum - Log Files Help Our Developers Troubleshoot Your Problems Quickly

Also, when trying to convert my videos using either H265 or H264 settings DVDFab is wanting to change the resolution to 768x576, other than my default of 720x576.

Did you use a default profile which has a set the resolution parameter?

I have followed the instructions as set out regarding Feedback. Haven't checked my emails yet, however in regards to the other asked above I didn't touch any Save Resolution setting.

It's a bit hard to locate the log file you sent without the Feedback ID, will you please send the log file again and then post the feedback ID here? Thanks again.

Is This Man is the One.mkv the video source that did not use CUDA during the conversion to H265 12bit?
If yes, please use mediainfo to analyze this video and post the result.

As for how to send feedback ID, please refer to DVDFab Forum - Log Files Help Our Developers Troubleshoot Your Problems Quickly

The problem is not just with this MKV file! I have hundreds of videos from various sources on my HDDs and have tried the program on many of them and get the same result?

I check for updates every couple of days & have the latest on my PC. Also, one of the other problems I have with DVDFab which I mention earlier, is that the software wants to change my resolution instead of sticking with the default one. DVDFab Toolkit doesn't do that? It keeps the default resolutions, but it also doesn't appear to use CUDA, though I could be wrong there, as that software doesn't indicate a CUDA setting either when I go to convert any files?

Did you "Save Resolution" (post #2) to the default profile and then use the default profile for conversion?

Confirmed with the developer, while converting to H26512bit, hardware acceleration is not supported.

I've got no hardware acceleration even when doing standard h264 and h265? I'm wondering if there's maybe something that's left behind when I do a complete uninstall then reinstall since it was working for me before?

I didn't touch the Save Resolution button before. Is there any way to change this setting in the Default Profile?

You can load the source, pick the default profile, click on the Wrench button to open the Advanced Settings window, set the resolution per your need, and then on the right-top corner, click "Save Profile".
