Streamfab downloading at lower res than previous downloader software in Amazon

When I was downloading Startrek shows before Streamfab was out, it was pulling down Next Gen from Amazon Prime at 1920x1080, currently it is pulling at a non standard resolution of 960x540. I had seasons 1-4 in 1080, so I tested redownloading an ep i had already pulled down with the new Streamfab and I got that same resolution.

I have it set to choose Best available, same as always, but im getting oddball res's. Do I need to manually set it to the shows res rather than letting the software just figure it out?

    Let me know, Thanks

Is this related to the Amazon Issue listed in the release log for 3.2.0.3? https://www.dvdfab.cn/downloader-new...page,headmenu2

Fix: A failure problem when downloading Amazon videos in 1080p premium quality (Reduced the video quality to SD to ensure a successful download, the fix for 1080p is in the works).

Saw that after I posted, so maybe? But this isn't standard res either so not sure. Also Disney+ is doing the same thing, was that a Disney thing as well if not there may be something on this end.

I suspect so. Several temporary workarounds have been necessary due to the changes the providers have made. This may have had an impact on other provider streams as well. The developers are working on a fix.

Just as a point of reference it may not be necessary to fix this. A few days ago older versions of competing software has been able to successfully download 1080 from Amazon. The developers may wish to internally test if they can do the same just by removing the temporary bypass. I myself will be downgrading the program to test this here.

Well unfortunately my testing of reverting to older versions was unsuccessful back to 3106.

Watch for it in a new release. An older one is unlikely to work as our Cubs fan reported above.

ETA on the new release? I have video set to best, and retested Wandavision, Loki, Falcon and the Winter Soldier, and all pulled at 720p.And Star Trek TNG is puling down at 768x576 still.

No specific date, sorry. As soon as physically possible.

Closing this thread since it goes back to a previous version. Please start a new one if necessary.
