    Does StreamFab use/optimize for GPU?

I know in VIP settings there is a setting for Enable GPU Hardware Acceleration that I have checked.

Does StreamFab/Qcef actually use my GPU for tasks that could be speeded up, like Processing?

I ran some tests for StreamFab vs. Diablo 2 (see attached) while monitoring system resources and never saw StreamFab listed during any of it's stages for Amazon Prime for Nope under GPU utilization.

While Diablo 2 does appear under GPU usage as a percentage, StreamFab never does.

Is this one area that Wilson Wang referenced that they are looking at to speed up the processes that StreamFab is doing for files (Analysis/Processing)?

I know that KidJoe asked about this previously back in September 2021
    https://forum.dvdfab.cn/forum/softwa...vices-settings

... and that Wilson Wang said that option would be removed in response due to video not being re-encoded.

    Is this still the case?

StreamFab website still says, "Enable GPU Hardware Acceleration: if your computer is installed with a higher-end graphics card, you can enable this option to accelerate the download and conversion" at How to use StreamFab - https://www.dvdfab.cn/downloader/how...-streamfab.htm and in the User Manual 6.2 @ https://streamfab.com/streamfab-user-manual.pdf

    Thanks!

The hardware acceleration is not used in StreamFab now, it won't affect the download speed or process.
We will remove this option in future versions to avoid confusion.
