I was also able to grab all of True Blood on HBOMax on Prime, as well as other series like Rome and John Adams at 1080, but The Wire and From the Earth to the Moon failed. Yet newer 2022 content like S2 of Gentleman Jack downloaded with no problem. I was able to download seasons 1- 3 of "Lost" (on Freevee) with no problem, but while the first half of S4 failed, the rest downloaded fine, and then S5-6 failed entirely. Go figure. huh?

The only things I can grab from HBOMax on Prime in 1080p/EAC3 using 6.0.0.8. are selections I downloaded before the 10th - everything else that's a new download comes up 480/540p, and unfortunately last-chance series that are going away on the 18th are also no better than 480p with the competition.
LOL, wouldn't you know that True Blood was the first series I downloaded when I started my free trial on the 7th? I should have downloaded anything but that!Last edited by artsunlimited; 12-18-2022, 05:22 AM.

It could have been and probably was from epix since I got the 1.99 deal. I've been just randomly loading up the queue from all the channels I bought from the black friday sale. So far they all have mostly been downloading at full resolution. I'd say it's been about 90% success rate and 10% failed (with the re-encoding). When that happens I just skip to the next file. Eventually I'll grab those at full resolution when the program (or other one) is fixed.
As for True Blood... lol... did you like it?Last edited by artsunlimited; 12-18-2022, 01:58 PM.

As I mentioned upthread, HBOMax on Prime is a bust - all the content that's going away today is only downloading in 540p. What's really weird is I haven't seen HBO-original series like Westworld removed from the lineup like this before, let alone on the 18th of the month, which to me seems very arbitrary as dates go.
It's one of Alan Ball's best, and I was a fan from the get-go - are you enjoying it?
As for True Blood, I watched the first few seasons years back when it came out. I haven't watched the remaining few seasons yet. I do like the show. I just haven't made time to wrap it up .
EDIT: Guess we should take this conversation to another location hah. Didn't mean to hijack the thread from the OP.Last edited by corey75; 12-18-2022, 09:06 PM.
