They fixed the hbo Max problem they are actually good as they just have a few big providers which makes it easier for them to fix issues not mentioning company but you know what company I am talking about

LOL, what's very selective is what's affected by this. I was also able to grab all of True Blood on HBOMax on Prime, as well as other series like Rome and John Adams at 1080, but The Wire and From the Earth to the Moon failed. Yet newer 2022 content like S2 of Gentleman Jack downloaded with no problem. I was able to download seasons 1- 3 of "Lost" (on Freevee) with no problem, but while the first half of S4 failed, the rest downloaded fine, and then S5-6 failed entirely. Go figure. huh?

Yeah, I had no problem with True Blood with both the Amazon and HBOMax modules. I tested with both just to compare. It's amazing how much better the quality of content is when grabbed through Amazon. I haven't tried any of those others. I am currently downloading NFL: The Grind successfully at 1080. It's hit & miss. A lot of stuff either fails or starts grabbing at 480 or 720 so I just stop it immediately and move on to a different title. I sure am looking forward to them resolving this new DRM issue. Until then, I've been grabbing what I can't here over at the fox. Once they get this fixed, I'll be back to using this on the norm. One of the major key players for me is that it saves the queue if the program has to be closed. Not so much over there.

You mentioned downloading NFL:The Grind in 1080p, but that's Epix on Prime, not HBOMax. Could you get anything else from Epix at 1080p?

The only things I can grab from HBOMax on Prime in 1080p/EAC3 using 6.0.0.8. are selections I downloaded before the 10th - everything else that's a new download comes up 480/540p, and unfortunately last-chance series that are going away on the 18th are also no better than 480p with the competition.

LOL, wouldn't you know that True Blood was the first series I downloaded when I started my free trial on the 7th? I should have downloaded anything but that!

Sorry, I failed to provide additional information on that NFL show. It was on Amazon, but not sure which channel. It could have been and probably was from epix since I got the 1.99 deal. I've been just randomly loading up the queue from all the channels I bought from the black friday sale. So far they all have mostly been downloading at full resolution. I'd say it's been about 90% success rate and 10% failed (with the re-encoding). When that happens I just skip to the next file. Eventually I'll grab those at full resolution when the program (or other one) is fixed. As for True Blood... lol... did you like it?

I haven't had much luck with new material from any other Prime subscription channels like Paramount+ - George & Tammy will only download in 480p, but at least that's one the competition can grab in 1080p. As I mentioned upthread, HBOMax on Prime is a bust - all the content that's going away today is only downloading in 540p. What's really weird is I haven't seen HBO-original series like Westworld removed from the lineup like this before, let alone on the 18th of the month, which to me seems very arbitrary as dates go.

As for True Blood... lol... did you like it?
It's one of Alan Ball's best, and I was a fan from the get-go - are you enjoying it?

Yeah, it does get frustrating at times the way the shift around content whether it be copyright, DRM, companies going woke, etc... whatever the case may be, it's always good to have the option to save videos. My luck is horrible when it comes to buying the digital content and then it getting dropped and I no longer have access to the "streaming rights". My argument is this... if it's the same price on physical copy v.s. online, it shouldn't ever expire since the physical doesn't have a time limit (unless the disc gets worn out obviously lol).

As for True Blood, I watched the first few seasons years back when it came out. I haven't watched the remaining few seasons yet. I do like the show. I just haven't made time to wrap it up .

EDIT: Guess we should take this conversation to another location hah. Didn't mean to hijack the thread from the OP.
