Amazon is working again and HBO Max (Standalone) is back to 1080p!!

    So happy right now...

Only problem with HBO Max is signing in directly doesn't work. StreamFab asks us to login to HBO Max via browser and then click already done but it doesn't work.

I had to login with my Amazon Prime login for it to work...

HBOMax standalone does not work for me for downloading 1080p on SF 6.1.0.0. Defaults to 720p with popup message. I had no problem signing in to HBOMax though.

Its not hard to find a CDM that works for those 2 programs, Hulu was never 720p, let's see how long the CDM lasts. My bet is less than a week. You did notice that HBO had an addendum to their contract with members. I hope you read it.

I am only getting 720p on HBOMax, it says 1080p but then the 720p popup box displays.

Amazon Prime and NF are okay but that's only if it lasts more than a week.

                Shit.

                I spoke too soon.

The White Lotus S01 downloaded at 1080p but S02 is 720p

Widevine- They will revoke this L1 asap. I give it a week.

I saw that but closed the popup too soon. I'm looking at the Terms of Use for HBO Max. Nothing sticks out to me so far. Is there something we should be aware of?

Where did you get this? Isn't that just the Widevine Certification for your hardware device?

L3 is Software based DRM where the decryption happens in the browser.
L2 and L1 are hardware DRM

Chrome only has L3 and can play 1080p so i am confused here...

EDIT: Ya it mentions devices and apps so that is most probably for actual phones, tablets, dongles and TVs.

Those resolutions don't apply to Chrome/Browsers...

Me too! But it's still showing as 544p in the video properties!

Yes, but obviously you were not supposed to look there.
