Peacock Streamfab not downloading Peacock movies

Streamfab not downloading Peacock movies. A few other programs seemed to downloadable but movies were having problems with the browser again. Has anyone else experienced this same behavior. It seemed to have been fixed a few weeks ago and I haven't tried to dl anything lately. It's a no go for now. Any suggestions? I'm not opening a ticket because I doubt if I'm the only one affected. TIA

I just downloaded 3 randomly chosen movies from Peacock without any problem.

Only problem I have with Peacock is staying signed in - so I always do my Peacock downloads separately, and usually one at a time using Download Now, rather than creating a queue. If I do use a queue, I check back frequently to make sure StreamFab didn't get signed out

The "Peacock always having to sign in" problem is an old one. It is in the hands of the Developer. While it looks like an easy problem to fix, I've been told that it is rather complicated and has been difficult to get a handle on. It is probably one of the oldest "should be able to fix" bugs on the list. The developer has not forgotten about it, nor will we let them.

I had the same problem with trying to download from peacock. Then I just deleted StreamFab log and restarted StreamFab. Then I was able to download again. Had to do that for every download.

I looked at your StreamFab.log and found it very interesting. It appears to me that the reason for the failure to analyze is because Peacock is giving you a "OVP_00311" error. That error shows up if you have too many devices active at the same time. You are allowed 3 devices connected and active to Peacock at a time. Were you running more than that when you tried to download Black Christmas? I've also seen Peacock be very finicky when you have too many devices listed total, active or not. My suggestion to clear that up is to go into your Peacock account and click on Devices and close all but the latest StreamFab listing. Unfortunately, unlike other streamers, Peacock will let you keep the active device that you are logged in on but all others must be deleted at the same time. That means that you may have to re-setup your TV or other devices. Try that and let me know how it goes. Please send the new StreamFab.log.

I said that your log was interesting. Do you actually have 4 GPUs?

One thing I am not a fan of is that it appears that you updated to 6.1.5.3 online. Am I correct in what I think I see? We've had more problems show up when people use the online update. I wish they would get rid of it. My suggestion is to do a clean install of the latest StreamFab release, meaning use a professional Uninstaller such as Revo, Ashampoo, and many others (Google "Uninstallers" for additional free and pay programs) to uninstall SF and then download the latest StreamFab release from the Sticky announcement at the top of this forum and install it fresh. Also, be sure to remove your current SF Log and Temp folders before installing the latest StreamFab release.

Another thing I noticed is that both times that you started up StreamFab according to your log, your Widevine was missing and had to be re-installed.

2023:12:10-15:40:09 0x0000dedc [Info]: Check cef component end
This used to cause the endless analysis but now it corrects itself. Jack/Mona/Wilson, I'd like to see the Developer take another look at why the Widevine disappears, if you could pass it on to him.

And back to the "OVP_00311" error, Peacock recommends, along with other things that don't pertain, to:
                • Clear your device'™s cache and data. You should be able to clear cache/data in your device's settings menu.
Besides that, it never hurts to clear your history, cookies and other data after every session.

I just downloaded the new Mac Version 6.1.5.3, and then tried to download a couple of movies from Peacock that failed on Version 6.1.4.9. As with the previous version, the movies failed to analyze and failed. I was hoping the issue was fixed with this new version, even though the description for this new version did not include any information that the issue had been fixed for Peacock. Since most of my downloads are from Peacock, it is very frustrating that the developers did not fix the issue, since it has been reported for previous versions before. Attached is my log file from today.

                    gsargent51,
I am not a Mac user. To be honest with you, this is the first time I've seen a Mac StreamFab.log. While most of it looks familiar, some of it looks very strange to a Windows user like me. I did see one, and only one, "OVP_00311" error and it didn't seem like it was in a vital place. In Cherokee's Windows log they were all over the place and it was obvious that they were messing things up. With yours, it didn't look that way but you might try to follow my suggestions to him about the devices anyway, if only as a precaution.
My main concern in your log is this - -
                    Code:
2023:12:12-09:41:35 0x10b3d4600 [Critical]: <QNSPanel: 0x7fa461a1b450; contentView=<QNSView: 0x7fa47bdd0d20; QCocoaWindow(0x60000213eec0, window=QWidgetWindow(0x60000330f900, name="WebSitePageWindow"))>> has active key-value observers (KVO)! These will stop working now that the window is recreated, and will result in exceptions when the observers are removed. Break in QCocoaWindow::recreateWindowIfNeeded to debug.\
                    2023:12:12-09:41:35 0x10b3d4600 [Info]: NavigateWidget: showmode 0\
                    2023:12:12-09:41:36 0x10b3d4600 [Info]: webview loadurl : "https://www.peacocktv.com/signin"\
                    2023:12:12-09:41:36 0x10b3d4600 [Info]: OnRequestContextInitialized \
2023:12:12-09:41:36 0x10b3d4600 [Critical]: <QNSWindow: 0x7fa47be0ded0; contentView=NSObject(0x0)> has active key-value observers (KVO)! These will stop working now that the window is recreated, and will result in exceptions when the observers are removed. Break in QCocoaWindow::recreateWindowIfNeeded to debug.\
I have no idea what that means. It looks like it is purely a Mac thing. A little research says it has something to do with the Swift programming language. Although it is listed as [Critical], I obviously have no way of knowing whether it is a showstopper and the reason for your problem. If I had to guess I'd say Yes because it appears over and over in your log.

Jack/Mona/Wilson, I believe this needs to be passed to the Mac developer.

While it doesn't fix it, I have found that as long as peacock is the first tab it tends to stay signed in longer but there is always that one time in the middle of the night though lol.

You might be on to something.
But with that said, I usually click on something and get the error about making sure I have access to view the video. Then I click OK and then click on the show again, then when I click on the episode it analyzes the individual episode and lets me download it.
