Now like you guys, i despised Windows 11 at first. But now, i prefer it over Windows 10
I never thought i'd say that but here i am. To be fair, i didn't like Windows 10 when it first came out and i was still on Windows 7 for ages after that.
I currently have it on all my PCs and Laptops but am still on Windows 10 for my 4 servers. They don't have the TPM (well 1 does) but there are ways of installing Windows 11 without the TPM. I will still keep Win10 on the servers until the motherboards die and by that time, Win10 security updates will no longer be available so we'll see what OS i prefer.
Two of my laptops are 2-in-1 so installing WSABuilds on them is a must for me. I also tell all my friends to do so. You don't need a 2-in-1 or even Win11 for it (Although i like it better on Win11 than Win10) but having a Windows laptop that becomes a 14+ inch Android tablet is amazing. I've actually had people on the plane ask me WTF this sorcery is
I loved Win7, and I found Win10 to be its half-brother that could handle a touch screen, but then I'm nowhere near the tech level you are, so there are probably differences I'm unaware of. It feels dumbed down to me and I hate that I can't see file icons in any of the folders. It may seem silly to the more savvy people here, but I need previews, not least because I have a massive photo library of an actual art collection plus a history of auction pieces going back more than 15 years, and I need to see at a glance what's in the folder because that's the fastest way for me to find it, instead of having to open up every bloody one. I'm not going to remember where, or in what year I saw a particular item that was sold, but I'll recognize it instantly by sight in its folder, so that feature is a must for me. I could maybe(?) change that by messing with the icon library but damn, why should I have to? Why didn't MS think really visually-oriented people would need - and rely on - that feature?
You make 2-in-1 sound very appealing (LOL, I actually typed appalling before I caught it), that'll probably be standard by the time I retire my current laptops.
I fell so much better now - I thought I was alone in the "every alternate version of Windows is to be avoided at all costs" assessment. I despise Windows 11 and will keep running 10 as long as humanly possible.

This company is unreal. They released yet another version of StreamFab only to advertise about another new module WOWOW instead of trying to fix Netflix. So sad. They obviously don't care. I don't even know what to say or think anymore. Everyone should just forget about this company and go to the competition (AnyStream) as they are actually trying to work on fixing their software and are making it better.
Well what's this?...I just downloaded a bunch of recent shows from Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, and Disney+ in full 1080p with full 5.1 audio. It only took a matter of time.
You know, just because they added a few new features along the way while they were also busy trying to fix the DRM issues isn't wrong. It is possible to do more then one thing at the same time. ...but clearly you're neither rational nor intelligent enough to understand that concept. Any ignorant fool can sit on the internet and complain about things he doesn't understand, you're one of them

It's a matter of priorities, and the appearance to the user when you show priorities don't matter to you. This is not a coding issue; this is a management issue. It shows that the company doesn't care about the biggest issue on all their user's minds. It also showed that they were only after the money by producing more products when the existing product doesn't work. Maybe from a mismanaged business standpoint it is a rational move, but for the company it is a reputation killer. If DVDFab lasts that long, people will still be talking 10 years from now about how they came out with a Japanese porno module when all the major streaming sites were down for almost 5 months.

This couldnt be said any more direct. They need to focus on bread and butter and forget all the other stuff when its not working as advertised. Now would be the time for new modules etc. Lets just hope that the next DRM change doesnt impact as long.

I beg to differ: now is the time to release a working Mac version.

Wow. You like calling people names? I can think of quite a few you've earned just with that last statement.
That release was three weeks ago! Keep up or STFU.
And incidentally I just downloaded 2 D+ titles that would only come down in 720p. Ralph Breaks the Internet and The Good Dinosaur. Not all D+ is coming down 1080p. Not in my region. Maybe in Analia Sphinctoria but not here.
Win11 Pro 23H2, no bloatware, no spyware, no crapware, no TPM, no Secure Boot, no MS account. And yes, you can dual boot 7 and 11.

Some software that would run on Win7 will not run on Win10/11. I tallied it up and I would lose $3719.49 in software and DAW plugins to "upgrade" to 11. I have most of the compatible essential software I use installed on a micro Win11 machine but my studio will remain on Win7. I then cloned the Win11 OS to my Win7 machine and bought a new license so in the future I can set it up to dual boot.

Seriously? That comment was made over three weeks ago, so that snide "things he doesn't understand" remark should be reserved for you.
And as SF released a working direct downloaded only 8 hours after Anystream went dark, your smug conclusion that "it only took a only a matter of time" is just as ridiculous. You may be willing to pretend that all-too-coincidental timing had nothing to do with SF being handed the keys after solid 5 months of dicking around while they released a Japanese porn module, but anyone else who was paying attention knows it doesn't take that long if you're willing to hire the developers to do it, which SF clearly wasn't willing to do. You better get everything you can this time around, because if the DRM changes in a major way, you'll be back to screen recording since SF doesn't have the knowledge to pick any locks on its own.
