1st I thought WidevineCDM 4.10.2710.0 is no more supported ..
edit: no, the API error is old .. and the player in SF works for me, but:

    Code:
[Critical]: OnLoadmanifest errdata: {"internalcode":205002,"messageid":42,"errorcode":7,"errormsg":"Netflix ID cookie is blank."
    [Info]: [Netflix]" "manifest level :AV1_AAC

I can confirm lack of 1080p download from Netflix in UK also. Most titles now only 480p that used to be 1080p!

It is related to that. As of yesterday, Netflix has downgraded the WidevineCDM 4.10.2710.0 to SD qualities.

I can't use Netflix for anything. It just logs out when I choose a movie.

After renaming the entire SF Temp + Log directory, I was able to log in again (without auto-logout) ..
.. but nothing changed - 540p dl works, but no higher resolution is offered
Older SF version 6198 is also affected

I tested with old WidevineCDM 2710 in Chrome and get only 540p !

As most people here know, the changeover to
Widevine CDM 4.10.2710.0 took quite a long time.

Chrome 128 Beta already contains Widevine CDM 4.10.2830.0
So it's only a matter of time before this becomes mandatory.

U.S. NF only at 480 for me. 13 hours ago downloaded ep. 1 of a series @1080, now can only get 480 of same and subsequent eps.

chromecdm 2710 stopped working for NF, so, 1080p in NF is dead with SF and chromecdm 2710 api.
solution, get a newer cdm version cracked..

I don't think we need confirmation from everyone (like: #MeToo)

This is not limited to individual titles or countries ..
.. it will be the same everywhere.

Better use the other providers before they follow suit.

And so it begins. even the so-called downloaders/screenreaders are stuck at 540p, at the moment. They may be able to update to the latest widevinecdm and then record again at 1080p but only time will tell.
On or about the end of 2024 I will be losing access to Netflix Standard.
After that, I might reevaluate if I want Netflix Standard /w Ads.
I will continue to have access to Amazon w/ Ads and Peacock w/ Ads.
TheCW, Pluto, Roku Channel, Tubi, and Plex, along with others, are good FREE w/ Ads services.

ok, good, unfortunately, that's one I don't know or have access to. I can only say that the ones I do have are all stuck at 540p, at this time.
I only have access to two so-called downloaders/screenrecorders, thanks to someone I know helping me.
as we all can't afford to keep buying different programs although some do give trials to at least test.
It could be maybe those calling the ones I have access to screenrecorders are not so accurate, I really don't know, but as you show it is possible with the right software still.
One of the ones not working, right now, I will name, is cleverget.

ADDED it may be location again as I now found the downloader and still only get 540p

Looked the same for me - you need to update widevinecdm (currently) by yourself ..

                            Slower but with better result:

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE INFORMATION.

I have learned a lot here and in other places.

I just think soon I may be transitioning on to other means, that will remain undisclosed.
All I will say is at least one source is making Netflix movies available at 4K and has been for some time, and I am sure most other movies as well.
What slows me down is I am still working with a 1080p TV and someday I have hopes of getting a 4K TV.
Until then I get things at either 720p which looks very good on a 1080p and other things at 1080p.
I do have things in 4K, but as many may understand playing through a ROKU to a 1080p TV, only gives it at 1080p, But it may be possible you still get a better picture, but it's not worth a debate.
I have watched downloaded shows from Amazon in 540p and they are good, mainly for approximately 20-minute TV episodes.
I am slowly updating them to 720p. Mostly still for storage sake. H265 has helped versus H264, for sure with Amazon.
I have 2 12TB external USB 3.0 hard drives but still, the higher the resolution can tend to take more space.

As for cleverget they tend to try to update so if it's possible for that program to get back to 1080p for Netflix the update should come someday.
The other unnamed program I have, it is lucky if they update once a month, so if nothing comes soon it won't come till next month, if possible.

The program you showed and then I found, is interesting, but again is it worth having to buy several different programs to get 720p/1080p?
No matter what, with all those programs, it seems there will always be Netflix titles stuck at 540p.
and since it can be fixed I am sure they will soon release a quick fix update for all.
On or about the end of 2024 I will be losing access to Netflix Standard.
