I haven't paid any money for it and wouldn't ..
    .. it can't dl H265 (or AV1) - it's just a fast recorder

The last 2710 DRM update took 4 months to fix
(and was available 2 months before the 2557 DRM revoked)

I hope you are correct. Netflix doesn't work at all for me, so I guess they will get around to fixing it soon. I hope; if not, I can do without it. There are Many Newsgroups and Usenet to choose from.

At least now you don't have to use Netfix to be automatically logged out... One problem solved...

            Please wait a little.

I can also confirm that there are no 1080p downloads from Netflix in Germany. Most titles are now only in 480p, whereas they used to be 1080p!

They're probably bringing back their "Recode" now

So 6.2.0.2 was released today, and says:
                  StreamFab 6.2.0.2 Changelog
New: Some improvements on the Built-in Browser Engine of StreamFab.
                  ...
Fix: Some failure problems when download videos.
Fix: A login failure problem of Netflix when using local network connection in some cases.
I don't have netflix anymore, so I can't try it.

                  Does it work?

Suddenly and unexpectedly, with 6202 I was logged out of NF for the first time this year
Fine, the Save Password dialog appeared from Chrome

But the first analysis failed and the second attempt continued SD only:

Nobody needs your log - it will be the same everywhere for everyone !

SF still uses the outdated WidevineCDM version 2710
see post #4 and #6 - we have to wait for a DRM fix.

Won't even analyze, so they can take the update back.

Ok after a bit of finessing I got it to analyze, and yeah 540p.

I highly doubt they can fix this 540p very fast. I think the main fix was log-in/Log-out issues.

Sadly when they post what's fixed they do forget to post things that might have been addressed, but note the huge 'update' description, which lately seems to include little to no fixes, does not state ANYTHING about Netflix in 540p or 720p/1080p.

On or about the end of 2024 I will be losing access to Netflix Standard.
After that, I might reevaluate if I want Netflix Standard /w Ads.
I will continue to have access to Amazon w/ Ads and Peacock w/ Ads.
TheCW, Pluto, Roku Channel, Tubi, and Plex, along with others, are good FREE w/ Ads services.

After fresh login close tab and reopen - otherwise restart SF
