    Netflix Analyzing issue with v6.2.0.3

Before installing v6.2.0.3, I deleted my Log and Temp folders, used Ashampoo uninstaller, chose to remove my configuration. I then rebooted my computer (running Windows 11) and then installed streamfab_x64_6203.exe which I downloaded from the sticky from today. I authorized StreamFab and then rebooted my computer again. I then opened up StreamFab, logged into Netflix and tried to download The Lincoln Lawyer, which was released prior to the DRM change. The issue I have having is when I click on the "Analyze" button, it just stays on the "Analyzing video URL" screen for a very long time and then I ultimately just cancel it. I have uploaded my StreamFab.log file in hope someone can provide me with a fix/workaround. I did use the Feedback form inside the program but I know they won't reply until next week.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Chuck

      Germania,
Thanks for the refresh tip. That seems to work. I looked at the log and it did seem to indicate an issue. This is what I was referring to "2024:11:01-19:04:07 0x00000618 [Info]: "[Netflix]" handshake failed, will not analyze metainfo" and a few more lines below that seem to indicate an error too.

Either way, the refresh trick worked for me.

      Thanks,
      Chuck

Thanks for chiming in. Actually, if I suspect this is the solution, I rename the cache folder. It is always a bear to get back into youtube when I do start fresh. If the resolution doesn't work, I rename it back so I lose nothing.
Again, it self resolved. I really wonder what is going on as many users report then it works again.

StreamFab 6.2.0.3 does not work for me.
            It won't analyse any video.
Attempts to playback any video give me an error message. (see attached pic)
            Reverted back to 6.2.0.1.
Downloading some videos at 540p. Not ideal but it works.
            Log file attached.

            Thank you...

              Tallguy297.....

If I may ask that you humor me and answer a few questions.....

1 - Are you using Windows 10 or 11?..... Home or Pro?.....

2 - Do you currently use a third party anti-virus program?..... If so..... which one?

3 - What are you currently using as your default browser?

Of course..... you don't have to answer..... and I fully understand if you choose not to.....

All I can offer right now is to just "humor me".....

              Thanks.

I am having similar issues in Netflix with 6.2.0.3. Attempting to play shows in SF results in the same error screen Tallguy297 receives. Attempting to analyze via the info pop-up results in nothing happening. I have to manually click the orange 'Analyze' button at the lower right, then one of two things happens. Either the analysis pop-up appears and stays up while the analysis never ends, or (much more commonly), the pop-up appears, analysis starts, then the pop-up disappears but analysis seems to continue endlessly as the orange button at the lower right indicates that analysis is on-going.

                  - This is on a fresh install of SF after removing the previous version with RevoUninstaller and then hand removing anything left behind (including all folders in Documents and AppData)
                  - This happens on both Win10 Pro and Win11 Pro machines
                  - Default browser on both machines is currently MS Edge
                  - I am using MS Windows Defender for real-time protection and have MalwareBytes Free installed for manual scans
                  - I have repeatedly tried closing and restarting SF, rebooting the machine, and refreshing the page in SF - none of these have resulted in success or any difference in symptoms
                  - For whatever it might be worth, I had the exact same problems with the 6.2.0.3 beta as well

I can't post logs right now but, if needed, I'm happy to post them in the next day or so.
