There's a telenovela of 150 or so episodes that I started to download from Amazon yesterday - beginning at zero downloads for over a week. I started it at about 7 in the evening and figured I'd be able to get the rest of it after the midnight reset. However, here it is mid-afternoon the following day and the counter has still not reset. Has the download limit been changed to a 24-hour period? If so, what initiates the countdown timer?

have you tried switching it off and on again (as in: completely close SF and open SF)? -

Okay - it appears the reset happens at midnight on the local PC but new tokens have to be obtained which are not available until 12 am UTC of the next day. If that is the case, being that I'm in the Pacific time zone I should see the new tokens arrive at 4 pm my time. This seems to be the approach used to help keep the daily limit over a 24-hour period. Otherwise, I could download 100 a few hours before midnight my time and then download another 100 shortly after.Comment

Just to clarify in case your response puzzles anyone like it did me - Yes I closed SF and reopened it and then closed everything and rebooted my PC and neither of those actions reset the timer to anything other than the typical midnight UTC.Originally posted by jpp72 View Post

I'm not sure if this makes any difference, but while you are listed as living in the state of Washington, USA, your official time zone found in your StreamFab forum account is GMT (the same as UTC) which encompasses Western Europe, Casablanca, Dakar, Dublin, Lisbon, London, etc.
That's not to say that your forum time zone is the same as your location settings as found in the StreamFab program itself. I'd have to see a copy of your StreamFab.log file.Comment

It's not an hour. It depends on your timezone now which is annoying. Before, it would reset at midnight my time. I had a bunch of scheduled things based on that where i would start a very long queue and timed it so that it would get close to the 100 quota and then continue after midnight. I would do mass downloads late at night and that way it didn't affect my bandwidth during peak times.Originally posted by Sebastian001 View Post

It reset around 4pm my time. Most of the time downloading during my peak usage times do not affect anything. the Max I've seen the download at is not even a 1/4 my max download speed from the ISP.Comment

While I also hate this change, the token indicator in the UI resetting at midnight local and the tokens actually resetting at midnight UTC need to be aligned.Comment

Glad I have seen this, I too thought it was midnight for me, don't check when or what time it is now. Thankfully, I don't try to use more than 100 in a day.
I too when I did download more stuff try to set it up for night and then next day stuff was completed.
It suits SF/DVDfab staff who changed it, for some reason, or it would not have been changed.What a waste of time, streamfab's so-called support.
As far as logs, send them via SF itself, send feedback, or via (https://www.dvdfab.cn/member.htm?a=get_support). Sending feedback via SF is also viewable on the member site.Comment
