    Netflix Netflix fails to analyze

    I get "Failed to analyze the video information, please contact us for assistance" errors on Longmire episodes.StreamFam seems to lose my login.Clearing out my downloads and closing the app might let me get an episode or two, but then I get the errors.

    I am running the latest StreamFam on a fully patched Windows 11. This app used to work but lately no luck.

    Hi there, are you using a VPN? When you can, please upload a .log file for the developers can look at.

      Absolutely. Which logs and where do I upload them? I appear to be logging in this location: C:\DVDFab\StreamFab\Log.

      Also, no VPN in use.

        Open in SF the "Hamburger Menu" (3 lines top right) select Settings
        In "General" is Language and Directory .. below is "Log Directory" (sample)
        in this Directory is StreamFab.log​

        For make it easier: Please rename your StreamFab.log (if SF closed)
        try once and if fails - you can attach the new StreamFab.log to your post (best without "insert")​

          I renamed the log file. Started SteamFab and it auto-updated.Started Netflix and tried to do some Longmire Season 4 episodes. Got one and the others failed. Attaching that log.

              I cant get mine to finish analyzing anything either on Netflix. I dont even get an error it just says analyzing and even if I leave it alone for 30 minutes it's still there.

              I have tried reinstalling, and updating. I have also tried deleting temp folder and starting over again. It just gives me trouble when logging in, and once its logged in nothing will ever analyze properly.

              I've had nothing but issues with Netflix since version 6.2.0.6. Version 6.2.0.6 / 6.2.0.7 I had login problems, and 6.2.0.8 / 6.2.0.9 will not finish analyzing anything for me.


              Now the program just keeps crashing on me every time I try to run the things I did manage to get analyzed by Netflix in a previous session. It's just completely random when it does want to work. Sometimes it takes about 20 tries and it will finally work for a while, then when I try again the next day, its broken again with the same behaviors.


              I am trying to get you a log but its always saying its corrupt and I cant open it. I've tried deleting it and making a new one with the program but its saying its corrupt as well when I try to open it.

              I finally got one that isnt corrupt but I dont know how much data it has in it since its newer.

              If I need to crash it a couple more times, or do specific actions, let me know.

                I deleted the temp folder and started all over and now I am getting an error that says the browser isn't compatible or needs a setting change.


                I exited the program and reopened it, and it went away. Then all I got was all black screen. I closed and re-opened and the tab finally started working.

                I ran it a couple more times, and again nothing but nonstop analyzing and nothing working. Then crashing again and again every time I try to run the queue I had.

                Here is another more updated log and a screenshot of the browser error. I hope this helps more than the previous one. It's the last one I managed to get before log became corrupted again.

                  Same here. Uninstalled and downloaded again but now just sits on analysing. This program is so tiresome

                    If you do this you have to reinstall SF completely.

                    In log I don't see an analysis problem ..
                    .. the problem in log is missing signed in NF account
                    so NF don't detect you as member (never NF cookie infos)

                      I'm not able to analyze on Netflix now either. I am on 6.2.0.5 as it was working then and I didn't see anything I needed in the new updates. I can log into Netflix fine and can play all Netflix video's inside StreamFab. I have it set to not automatically analyze, so once I get to a move or show I want to record, I have to click the Analyze button. When I do this, it never finishes analyzing. I have attached a clean log file showing this. I hope someone can help. I did look at the end of the log file and I see where it it says "2024:12:14-09:47:04 0x000012ac [Info]: "[Netflix]" handshake failed, will not analyze metainfo" but I have no idea why or if there is any more information that may give a clue what the issue is.

                      Any help is appreciated.

                        I miss "[Info]: [Netflix]" "Cookie .. " in your log - you can try clearcookies here

                        But 1st: Have you tried to refresh (here) or close tab and reopen?

                        I know Handshake errors (at 2nd and 3rd try) only if bad vpn server used.
                        If no vpn used - try with a vpn (or try change ip/dns server)​

                          Germania Thanks for the suggestions. First off, I don't use a VPN or have a VPN to use. After reading your reply, I went back into StreamFab and opened Netflix. I first did the clearcookies suggestion. After logging back in, the analyzing issue remained. I then canceled it analyzing and then clicked the refresh button you linked to. I then tried it again and the same issue. What I did last is something that has worked for me in the past and something I did try, but didn't mention, before I posted my log file above. I logged into my wife's profile and tried to analyze it there. That worked this time, which it didn't earlier. I then went back into my profile and everything works now. As I mentioned, I have had to do the changing profiles trick before and it has always worked until this morning before I posted my log file. For some reason this morning it didn't work. I don't know what solved it but maybe the extra step of clearing the cookies before I did the profile change cause it to work. Not sure but at least it works now and wanted to thank you for the suggestion and post what worked for me since it had an extra step of changing profiles.

                            I'm logged in, thats the problem. I log into Netflix, try to analyze something and it doesn't work. After logging out and in several times and restartting the program several times, once in maybe 20+ tries it will randomly decide to work. Then when I use up my 100 for the day and come back the next day. It's broken all over again and I have to repeat that same tedious process and HOPE it works.
                            If there was anything left in the queue and I try to run it the next day, the program just crashes.
                            Why is it saying I am not logged in when I clearly am, and can browse and change account users?

                              Since I haven't had the problem with either of my both
                              accounts with any SF version, I can't answer that.

                              But as I wrote before: "never NF cookie infos" - soo see #12​
