    Netflix Netflix failing again

As usual I don't download anything for a while but when I do try to it fails. Netflix saying that Chrome settings need to be changed to allow playback of protected content. Error M7701-1003.
I think made the usual mistake of "updating" which rarely makes things better

    I'm not surprised at all:

Why is it so difficult for them to ensure a program thats been available for years just works correctly? The online upgrade works sometimes. Why can't they make sure it works every time? At any rate I've "updated" using the site itself and it still doesn't work.

It's bad enough they try and get more cash by charging for access to old versions that you should never need which is why I don't pay. But I've saved old versions and whenever I install them they've ensured they don't work anyway -"this version is too old".

Even the version from June won't work. This program really is crap

I never had any problems with the built in updater using Windows 7. I cant use that anymore because its no longer supported by streamfab so I installed it on my PC with Windows 10.
Only one time did it give me a problem, and that's recently when I upgraded from 6.2.0.6 up to 6.2.0.8. I was also using Windows 10 for the first time so maybe its been a problem on Windows 10 for a while.

Anyways, I have gotten that very same issue you mentioned about error code about the browser a couple times now. it tends to happen right after I delete the temp folder. I just exit the entire streamfab software, wait a minute, and then restart it. It typically goes away after that. Give that a try.

Have the same problem, fresh install of 6.2.0.9. Found thread of this issue for 6.2.0.5 which suggested clearing Netflix cookies (didn't work), removing/rebuilding the cache directory (still didn't work) and making sure the Widevine dll is in the right location (it was).

Something new more often .. never seen this tracker in log
            Code:
[Info]: [Netflix]" "GetResourceRequestHandlerFromContextHandler - url :https://logs.netflix.com/log/wwwsw/cl/2,
and after clearcookies I noticed only multiple
            Code:
            [Warning]: "[Netflix]" nfid emtpy

.. so it is clear to me, that it is not a StreamFab problem alone.

This can have many reasons, that's why no solution work for everyone.
And because I have never been affected myself, you will have to
try it out for yourself and see what works for you.

After I thought perhaps your preselected Atmos is not offered ..
.. but playing in SF and analyzing is for me without any problem.

So I don't know why you closed the tab - if no critical in log.
I think for NF you don't need the player ..
.. analyzing works also with info site only

Cant download the Beverley Hills Cop film. Deleted Temp and Log , still getting the "protected content" notice. Managed to download some things a few days ago so this is getting so annoying

If this were a StreamFab problem, why does it work for me?

I can download without any issues, except for the EAC3/Atmos main profile broken problem with AAC 2.0 audio.
Don’t use VPNs or data centers; it should work then. Those are, of course, blocked by Netflix.

I've had no trouble using a VPN. Downloaded several hundred episodes over recent weeks.
But I shut down SF and started again a few times and for no apparent reason the download worked.
                      Bit unreliable is this program

see my quoted text in post #6 - so I don't think anyone can help you ..
.. there has never been a single solution that works for everyone

That's my point. You make a sarcastic comment as if it's not an SF problem when it clearly is even though it may not affect everyone. It works for you but I'm not the only one having problems
