Max Issue analyzing multiple seasons with 2060p DoVi available

In order to DL in 720p or 1080p for TV shows with multiple seasons that offer 2016p DoVi profiles, I have to force analysis per season by adding ?season=x to the show's URL.

Example: https://play.max.com/show/<show-guid>?season=2

If I don't do that and ask it to download all seasons it switches to 2160p for season 2 and after. I absolutely love having 2160p as an OPTION, but do not always want that, and sometimes I want multiple versions so that I can stream optimally depending on where I'm at.

Examples I've confirmed have this issue:

• His Dark Materials
• Doom Patrol
• The Head

• Version 6.2.1.1
  • The issue has been present since the version that allowed for Max 4K DoVi downloads (was that 6.2.0.9?)
• I've tried both DoVi and DoVi (HDR10 Compat) profiles
  • When using H265 SDR profile, the selected resolution downloads
• I've tried 720p and 1080p, both switch to 2160p once it gets to S2
• In settings, I unchecked the "Download Max videos in 4K if available" option
• Location, USA
• No VPN

After updating to 6.2.1.1, it appears Streamfab just sits there stating it's Analyzing (no matter what video you select) and it never completes in MAX. I've tried Netflix and that works but not MAX. Then when I cancel, the occurrence of Streamfab locks up. Restarting it generates and Error report that you can not view or add additional detail. The only thing that restores Streamfab is a reboot. Using high end Dell laptop - 32 gigs of ram, 64bit windows 11. Please advise

you'll have to que each episode individually to get 1080p or 720p

Ahh, I read that thread as it was occurring, but obviously did not go to page 2. Thanks for pointing that out. Fortunately for me, if I specify the ?season=2 then the entire S2 as well as S3+ can be downloaded in the resolution I want. I don't have to resort to episode by episode analysis.
