ViX ViX Downloads failing

Starting just a couple days ago, about 90 percent of my ViX downloads are failing. It's downloading something, but often at extremely slow speeds. When the downloads have a total speed of tens of MB/s, they succeed about half the time, but never when the total speed is in the KB/s range. It's acting like it's not getting the correct manifest.

Does it make any difference that I have a no-ads premium account? I only mention this because SF's ViX downloader was originally written to download without any ViX account necessary at all. I've been having difficulty downloading only after paying for an annual no-ads subscription on ViX.

I tried "Above Suspicion" from ViX via VPN USA
and can not detect any problem (except lame speed)
