For your reference:
Beijing Time (UTC+8): September 16, 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM
Eastern Time (UTC-4): September 15, 11:00 PM - September 16, 2:00 AM
Pacific Time (UTC-7): September 15, 8:00 PM - 11:00 PM
During this period, users may experience issues when attempting to read some new Blu-ray or UHD discs using DVDFab and Passkey. Once the maintenance is complete, services will resume normally.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding and patience. Thank you for your continued support!
Hi, not sure why they do not ask when prompt after analyzing, but if you go to Settings -> Preferences -> VIP Services -> Netflix, You can schoose your codec there.
If it is not availeble it should fallback on H264 if i'm correct.
Maybe someone else can confirm my suggestion as i do not use it normally.
When I download anything from Amazon Prime or Disney +, there is an option to select H.264 or H.265, but I never get that options on Netflix, why?
The dev is working of this, it will be added soon after the Chinese New Year holiday.
Wilson

Just to clarify, H.265 is only available for Netflix shows, and only if you're subscribed to Netflix+. For non-Netflix content, even with the correct subscription, it will default to H.264. Is this correct?"

Movies and TV Shows made by Netflix will be available in H265 HDR
Movies and TV Shows not made by Netflix will be available in H264
.. You can tell what is made by Netflix because of the N at the top left of the thumbnail.
And HDR10 always requires NF Premium Plan - it's not available with NF Standard plan - s. here
If you prefer smaller files for non NF Original content, use AV1 (or VP9)
