RTL+ CBR Streams

Hi,

RTL+ has hidden CBR streams, but StreamFab doesn’t seem to recognize them.
Most of the detected streams are VBR.

Would it be possible to add support for the hidden CBR streams?
I, and probably many others, would really appreciate the significantly better quality.

The discussions have been going on for over a year (here) ..
(I don't think that will change now)
.. SF takes the mpd that is offered in the browser.

And that sometimes varies within a season - example:




btw: I have not yet found a CBR for every VBR - even if former URLs still work

The CBR MPD URL from RTL+ can be easily customized for any Video.

This allows you to download any Video from RTL+ at the best Bitrate.

The normal MPD URL, which can be grabbed by the Browser, only offers very low Bitrates.

It remains to be seen whether the Developers will ever be able to solve this Problem.

i know there are cbr streams but i cant find them by myself

Well, that begs the question: what use is this knowledge to me in connection with Streamfab? Can I get Streamfab to load the CBR stream without getting the video using other tools?
