Wilson.Wang , the developer can add a new button to the audio. Choose either "Best Quality" or "EAC3 5.1 If Available."

The problem still occurs when S1F1 is only available in EAC3 2.0. Streamfab also downloads S1F2 in EAC3 2.0, but S1F2 has EAC3 5.1.

No, it has to work without a hack, hence the correction.

Yes, but if no one reports the problem, they will never fix it!

The hack is only useful if you know that an episode is available in 5.1.

Bones.s01e02 offer no EAC3 5.1 at amazon.de for me ..

I can confirm, that when I analyse Bones.s02e01 and select
s02e01+s03e01 .. I get s02e01+s03e01 with german EAC3 2.0
(without analyzing s03)

And when analyzing s03 german EAC3 2.0 is not offered ..


btw: But this works for me:

So at least differents in seasons could be detected without modded script

Bones only has 5.1 starting in season 3, episode 1. I'm just using the series as an example...

However, I recently watched a series where S1F1, had 2.0 and S1F2, had 5.1.
...and I only saw that by chance.

I see this problem regularly with some Paramount+ series. Go to P+ and the episode has 5.1, but not on Prime. Remuxing the two together usually doesn't work because run times are way different. Ultimately I end up using the scene to find it correctly.
Sometimes though, downloading the same episode in h264 offers 5.1, and you CAN remux that audio with the h265 video file you got previously.

What you're describing may have nothing to do with the Streamfab feature that no longer works. Streamfab doesn't upgrade to 5.1 when 5.1 is available. That's the sole purpose of this thread.
