Max Cannot download anything from Max

    Hi.

Until recently, my wife and I hadn't had Max for over a year.

Through our ISP, we now have Max for free.

Today, I tried to download a movie and SF wouldn't d/l it.

It analyzes fine and the screen that pops up that shows the progress of the download stays at 0%. Nothing else happens.

I let it stay like that for well over 45 mins and the progress bar remained at 0%.

This occurs at any resolution, any movie and an y episode. I tried about 10 different movies/eps.

I tried all sorts of things to fix this:

    logging out, logging back in

    clearing caches

    deleting files

    etc etc

Having not had Max for over a year, is this a known issue with Max and SF?

Nope (in this case i need no ask which country, because only in USA offered)

When dl not start in 2 Minutes - watiting longer make no sense ..
.. you should switch back to the SF Browser to see what happen there,
because 2nd Analyzing before DL start need to start title in SF Player

After renaming cache (+Relogin) and without a VPN issue ..
.. I know only two possible reasons:
    a) You have an AdBlocker in Background or in DNS Server
    b) StreamFab especially the process QCef.exe hangs

    a) Disable your "Security Tool" and try a different DNS Server
    b) Close SF, wait some seconds, restart SF and start the queue
(the SF Browser open then max automatically)

Which version of SF are you using?

        The most current version.

I also rolled back to the previous version and the same issue occurs with Max (and ONLY Max)..

NOTE: ALL the other streaming services we use work 100 perfectly. (Amazon, Hulu, Peacock, Paramount+, Disney+)

It's just Max that will not download.

        I'm at a loss.

I've tried all this and still nothing from Max will download.

Does the playback work in the SF Browser?

I can only offer to check your Log ..
.. not sure if there is an error when no Error in SF

            Close SF, rename the StreamFab.log
start SF, try once and after fails or "nothing dl" close SF
and attach your StreamFab.log to your post

I'll do this and get back to you.

My wife and I are away from home today/tomorrow; but, I'll get it done asap when we return.

I had some time before we left for the weekend.

I'm attaching the log for you.

NOTE: Although no movies/eps will download, I can watch any of them via the SF browser.

For example, I try to d/l "I Married a Witch". It won't download (progress bar remains at )). While that's happening, I go back to the SF browser and select "I Married a Witch" and it immediately loads and plays perfectly.

It just won't download (refer back to my original post and the screenshot).

ANY help would be greatly appreciated.

try choosing AAC audio and see if the movie will download.

I think I found the reason in your log: "The credentials were not recognized" ..
.. but I can't say why you get this (never seen in any log):
                      Code:
[Info]: download fail -99 (The credentials were not recognized / Invalid argument)

I can only assume that this has to do with your provider login:
                      Code:
                      https://auth.hbogo.com/saml/module.php/hbo/login/?idp=att_bundle&service=hbomax
                      Since I have never used a US Provider, I can't say/test more.
Perhaps an other AT&T user can say anything about this issue.

                        That makes sense to me.

A year ago, when had Max by subscribing to it and everything was fine. Now, we get it free via AT&T and this problem arose.

I'll have to check this out further.

As you say, perhaps another US user who logs-in via AT7T might have seen this . . .

I'm sorry. I also mean to say THANK YOU for looking into this for me!
