Netflix Chrome CDM 2830 has been revoked on Amazon Prime and Netflix?

    Hi,
It seems that we can't download 1080p anymore from Amazon Prim and Netflix.I tried to download also things that I already downloaded as 1080p and worked, but now when SF scan the movie it say that only 540p is available for download.

That's why SF contain 4.10.2891 for playing
    Currently no change for me

Yesterday there was a topic "Everything is 540p only" (away?)
after clean reinstall it works again

Well, I did check Amazon and can't find much better than 1920x800 have not come across 1920x1080. Mainly movies.
It could more likely be something changed on Amazon? No movies better than 1920x960, most 1920x800.
The show I download offers 1920x1080.

But I did find 1920x1080 on Netflix.

Can someone else check Amazon? This is the best I get. Not saying it's CDM, but something changed at Amazon US for me.
Tested several top 10 movies on Amazon.

ADDED: Ok, never mind, this was found ...

1920x800 is 2.39:1 Full HD aspect ratio, often called Cinemascope. The 16:9 equivalent in FHD is 1920x1080. 3840x2160 is 16:9 UHD. 16:9 is a far more common aspect ratio, and is what you'll normally see on TVs, computer monitors, and probably about half to two-thirds of cell phones.
            • 1920x800 is often referred to as 1080p due to the shared horizontal resolution:
Some people might refer to it as 1080p because it's also a widescreen format with a large width, but it's not the same resolution.

So this is a NONE issue and if OP still has an issue, clear or rename streamfab cache with program closed. Uninstall and then install streamfab.

Thanks, Germania, I am grateful to you for checking that.

I updated my post above (#6) to reflect what was found, and I was just having a bad day in my thinking of 1080.

This is like the 3rd (the sky is falling) CDM 2830 being revoked post I have seen.
I am not saying it won't happen and that if it does, it won't affect streamfab.
But I think more time needs to be given before saying so...

Yup, basically because Amazon know they are streaming to a flexible decoder, they can afford to strip off the black bars from the top and the bottom to save bandwidth, something that "the spec" prohibits you from doing with BD

The video resolution of Netflix seems more standard, like 1920x1080, 1280x720, 960x540..

But in Amazon, there are more different 1080p video resoltions, like FHD 1920x1080, 1920x800/960 without the Top/Buttom Black area.

but now when SF scan the movie it say that only 540p is available for download.
@fresh.0nline, if you are saying the Netflix, please check the video studios first.

Videos of Sony and Columbia Pictures are max limited 540p video quality on Netflix itself.

I think this thread can be closed. After I deleted the cache folder (as Germania suggested) it seems to start working normally. The 1080p resolution is back
