Can't login with TV provider on TNTDRAMA.COM

Guess what? 6.2.4.1 is out and the correct yt-dlp (YoutubeToMP3Process) is in it.

I pulled up tntdrama.com and did the AdobePass for my Xfinity MSO, and the same thing happened. Two tabs, one blank, one AdobePass, both with spinning icons. I hate to point fingers (no, I don't) but that should have fixed it. SF is doing something wrong. Wilson.Wang, could you please get the developer to fix this? Two or three years is a long time to wait for this to be sorted out. Yt-dlp did their part, now SF has to do theirs.

The weird thing is I got further with 6239, but now can't get anywhere with that either. (here)

I just tried ABC.COM and got it on my second try. I went through the AdobePass procedure using Xfinity as my MSO and this time I didn't get the two tabs with the icons spinning. In other words, it took it. I then clicked on the MPD down arrow, which brings up MPD analysis. SEE BELOW


I chose the setting and started the download, which failed. SEE BELOW
I then tried again using the other down arrow which was just the plain YouTube downloader and that download succeeded.



When I get time later, I'll try some of the other AdobePass fixes in the latest stable yt-dlp.

I just tried that episode, and it works for me too. We need the YouTube downloader arrow to light up, as trying DRM downloader gives an error.
The few other General hospitals I tried did not work for me. The YouTube downloader arrow does not light up for most sites, as I said in my tests, like TBS and TNTdrama. If you do try to click on the downloader arrow, it then gives an error below. And the arrow does not light up.


Hope you do have better luck, but it seems very very hit and mostly miss. I got
before on TNT, so there is more to it needed than the yt-dlp update. Very slowly, it's getting closer.
I have not tried other downloaders or recorders for some time, as some of them could not find a video either on TBS.

If you get it working, a bit more constant will be great, and hopefully, you can describe what needs to be done if that happens.

No luck. I tried channels from the NBC and Turner family of channels. I could not get past the AdobePass. I got stuck with the swirling icons on the two tabs. I tried the A&E family of channels, and they don't seem to be using the AdobePass at all. You just have to sign up. A few are locked and only then are you offered the AdobePass. It worked for me. After that, any show/episode that would have been locked is downloadable.
Those are the only 3 family of channels that I tried that were supposedly fixed in the new yt-dlp. Partial success, I guess.

Absolutely no luck with NBC and Turner AdobePass using 6.2.4.2. I did not try A&E this time because it worked in my message #20 above for 6.2.4.1, and I lost interest in doing battle with it in 6.2.4.2.

Wilson.Wang, PLEASE! Have the developer look into why AdobePass does not work with StreamFab, although it was corrected in the most recent version of yt-dlp. We literally have been fighting with this for several years.

I don't bother much now either with streamfab and TBS, TNT, and others. Most do not have DRM, and doing a direct download with yt-dlp works fine.

I never got a huge amount from all those providers, as it's available via other means. And until this was brought up with streamfab, I never would have thought to try streamfab.

But if I find a movie, then yt-dlp is my answer as no other downloader or recorder either will support TBS, TNT, etc, either, because they can't log into adobe pass either.

And having to circumvent streamfab to log in via adobe pass is a royal PIA, and then to find out streamfab can't find any videos once you do get by the adobe pass just makes you shrug your shoulders :/. At least not for TNT, TBS, and their related networks.

Only NBC will sometimes work and find a video if you finally get past the adobe crap. ABC gave me some trouble in the past, and now the show I used to get is missing again. If it comes back, I will wait till it's available via other means as well.

yt-dlp is nowhere near a great answer, as you have to do each movie or episode separately. But still seems an answer other than going to other means.
