Now tv downloads all incomplete. Tried several times. 45 minute documentaries all seem to complete but then playback is not working and total time is around 15 minutes,

I downloaded the new version 6.2.4.1 and tried it, it failed yet again, on Jun 13, 2025 09:16:42 I reported this and sent them a link to a 35s video showing the problem is still there, along with screenshots of the actual length and the expected length.

Hello, this issue has been fixed.
Please update to the latest version.
It will probably be another 3 days before they respond, I expect it will be another 'we're working on it', or 'wait for the next version', or 'delete these two folders and try again'. I mean seriously, they could quite easily replace support agent Rain with a simple script - actually Rain probably is a simple script.
Oh and the 6.2.4.1 update messed up my VIP services:
My vip services before the update were:
Channel 4, Itvx, appletv+, now, netflix
After the update it was:
Itvx, appletv+, my fans, netflix.

If they complete then they look okay, not watched anything through yet but checked the first 30s or so and the last 10s or so.
I am seeing a lot of these though:
But still, it looks like some of them are working and maybe retrying will sort the others out. Could be adguard getting in the way. ITVX will only work if I quit adguard. Other services seem fine.
I am quitting adguard and adguard vpn to see if that helps (some had issues if the vpn wasn't on), if it fails again I will send them the logs and see if they can find any issues.

The latest update has done nothing.
Downloads all seems to complete but a 45 minute program lasts 12 minutes.
With the latest 6.2.4.2 I have downloaded 4 seasons of Succession, 1 for the day of the jackal, 2 for avenue 5 all fine. It did take a few (up to 6) attempts for some of them - some just failed and I had to keep re-doing them some came in at 20 mins for a 60 min program, but if I kept trying then they eventually worked.
When did you raise your support request and send in the logs?

Can't be bothered to make 6 attempts to download nor retry multiple times when it fails. I expect it to work properly. I've raised it with support more than once . From what you say it may be similar to before when downloads worked on some things but not others. But I tried 4 different things from Sky Arts and one from Gold which all ended up a fraction of the time they should be so I assumed it affected everything.
I did the usual deleting Temp and Log etc but that made no difference.
Out of curiosity I downloaded the first episode of Succession and it lasted 22 minutes
Previously I've found that sometimes a new install may correct things but its such a pain not least of all is finding the setting to get rid of that poxy advert popup that appears every time you open the programLast edited by phelings; 06-23-2025, 09:19 PM.
