Still nothing, been waiting all day to get this working, just to sit here without a response. SMH scheduled to look for a fix with a dev, time came and past just silence.
I hate to talk money back, as streamfab has strict rules, but I think this should be an exception to the rule, as you can't use the software if they refuse to help you activate it.
Maybe even see how long back it goes, as sometimes you can dispute via CC, but even that, I found the CC has limits as to how long since purchase you can then ask for a dispute of the charge.
In other words, it could be too long to even ask the CC to dispute the charge.

Very unsettling to hear they never got back to you. No matter how you try to contact them, it seems it takes close to 48 hours or more for any reply. Although I thought a few times about emailing them at either contact_form@dvdfab.cn or service@dvdfab.cn or support@streamfab.com, but I have a sinking feeling it still will take at least 48 hours between contact, and some of these email addresses may even bounce the email attempt.

I think I only heard of a handful of people they were to help via remote, but I don't know if they too ended up in the same situation as you or not.

On a personal note, TeamViewer sucks as years went on, although streamfab or dvdfab may pay for it, if you try the free version you will quickly get a prompt saying you used it too much even when not using it for months and asking to pay for the so-called free version. RustDesk. Chrome Remote Desktop and, even at times, AnyDesk are better in that way.

It's just to the point that it doesn't look like it's something any member will figure out, as not many had the issue, and it needs SF support to address it. I lost count of how long I used some DVD FAB products and never had it say (it won't connect to servers, it's telling me to check my connection). The worst was a bad password, and after typing it in 2 or 3 times, making sure no spaces, etc. I got activated.

No one knows when the next version will come, and then there is nothing to say it is going to fix such a small localized issue.

Maybe for some reason, since it seems it's up to ports now, the port(s) are blocked, but again, by what? Is it the user's router or firewall?
As I know, my ISP modem/router combo insists on having a firewall, and I have it set to either the lowest or off, as Windows Firewall handles it all perfectly.

OP has not said if they ever got a reply from feedback/support, we only had the one post here by Wilson. All that can be done is wish them well.

And it's not a combo of DVDFab, Unifab, or any other fab, as I have most of them installed all on one computer, and all work fine together.
Just checked DVDFAB 12, 13, and UniFab (x64).

I also have to add that in my Windows firewall only thing that is listed is YoutubeToMP3Service. Nothing else is listed that has to do with streamfab.
Hopefully we see what's up tonight, they want to access my pc threw teamviewer to see whats going on.

So that means my Windows firewall just allows it without even prompting. Only prompted or specific items associated with Windows seem to be listed.

    AceDaMack:

Open a command prompt as an Administrator and type:

    Code:
    netstat -b -f
As soon as you press enter, open StreamFab and try to activate it.

This should show us where it is trying to connect and which port... Then you can create an explicit firewall rule to open that port outbound

Yeah, I get it, but it was Wilson.Wang who wanted the pings. I think they were hoping the user's network had an outage.
I don't think even they know what's wrong.

It may do nothing, but the user can still try deleting the streamfab.ini, as you never know what may be wrong or possibly corrupted in the file.

OTHERWISE, it's no point for anyone other than SF support or OP to post here, as nothing stated, so far, has worked for OP.

You may just have to wait till streamfab support can get to you. The above pings look ok.
I don't want to keep taking you down long or bad paths.

Just one or 2 other things.
1)Are you using any type of proxy or proxy in streamfab? If so, disable or remove them.

Your log says: NetworkProxyFactory: custom configuration, host: port: 0 Type: 2

In my log, it says: NetworkProxyFactory: custom configuration, host: port: 0 Type: 0

2)Find and delete streamfab.ini and delete it and try again.

(Deleting steamfab.ini should also fix #1.)

streamfab.ini can be found at %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\DVDFab\StreamFab

If you tried, then you can skip trying this above and keep bugging Streamfab feedback/support.

ping has some extra options -l is size I changed to 1024 and -n is number of pings I changed to 10 maybe try 20?

I am guessing you double and triple checked when you input your username/email and password to authorize.

Maybe try to see if you can change the password in the member center, although you say you can get into the member center.
While in the member center, make sure all looks good, like an assigned Mac address, etc ...

So it's still up to waiting to see if support or maybe Wilson comes back with something.

If pings are going through even if you up it to 20 tries, then it's something still at StreamFab's end.

Wilson.Wang you may need to help here more or push tech support to help as the user can't use the software.

This is what I get, so pings seem ok for me too: Maybe a small area or location issue?
