It is well known that if you want to browse certain sites, it needs to be off on Xfinity, so I just leave it off.
Also, usually changing DNS can simply fix, although I know you tried that. Even with the Security off, I still use either OpenDNS or Cloudflare DNS.
    People can Google other DNS.

Does 6229 still work, because if it does, then did streamfab make a change in the servers in later versions?
Me and the devs have tried everything and we can't do anything about it because verizon is blocking me on their end. No 6229 doesn't work anymore either, i downloaded 1 movie from Amazon and didn't touch SF for a month came back manually updated to 6.4 thats when the shit started.

Edit: also on that day me coming back to SF to download after that month hiatus upon booting up my pc SF didnt ask me to update to the newest version like it always does, that right there was the first red flag. I didnt pay any attention to that because I always do the offline Install

I have been downloading boatload of series to save for later, movies I already bought, and some stuff to watch later that might be gone in 2 months when I actually want to watch from Amazon. Realllllly adds up with older shows with 22-26 eps per season. I have been slowing my roll on that this week, and also trying to watch hours of actual stuff via Amazon on my AppleTV for perceived "balance." Just for laughs I also checked my Amazon account for any messages. Of course, not worried if 'revenue' related since I might spend $20K a year on Amazon (seriously -- catfood adds up!!). I am in US. This only interested me as I have been downloading so much from Amazon (US), but I have some random purchases from UK version from years back when some UK music company or tech company had their buy links on Amazon. I make sure I'm not logged into UK version for my downloads, though.
