Not a StreamFab Issue ISP blocking SF

I just want someone here to explain to me why my ISP is blocking me from SF, nobody can seem to explain that shit though. I'm not tryna be paying a yearly subscription on a VPN just to update dvdfab and not be able to use StreamFabs unless using the VPN. This is ridiculous like I said I only use this computer for dvdfab and streamfab so what the hell happened.

Off-topic, this has nothing to do with receiving warning messages from Amazon. Moving this message to a new topic.

So many tried, including me, and you said SF staff as well. I just find it hard to believe an ISP would just block streamfab from the Internet.
      Reference (https://forum.dvdfab.cn/forum/stream...sp-blocking-sf) and (https://forum.dvdfab.cn/forum/stream...il-from-amazon)
The problem is, assuming you tried everything suggested, there seems to be no answer. First name the ISP, and the closest I came was Xfinity has a ridiculous option called Getting started with Xfinity xFi Advanced Security - Xfinity Support. After getting that turned off when they had the fits about forcing it on for every user, I never had an issue again with any site blocking me.
To me, it seems either an account block, less likely because you can access it via a VPN, or the SF site, for some unknown reason, blocked your IP or MAC.
We had one other member with an issue, and it ended with me saying to turn on the VPN, once activated/authorized SF via the VPN, then try disconnecting the VPN to download shows or movies
You could still try downloading with VPN on, but I know certain providers block VPN's.

Also, not 100% of the time, but changing DNS servers may work, as that's the main thing VPN does other than encrypting your traffic and changing your IP and possibly changing your location.
In my eyes, streamfab and their so-called support let you down. But won't be the first, and not the last, time they do that to someone.

DNS Server List: Free & Public Options for 2025JUST DO NOT USE A DNS SERVER THAT HAS ANY BLOCKS LIKE AD BLOCK OR MALWARE BLOCK, OR EVEN MENTION ANY TYPE OF BLOCK. OpenDNS and Cloudflare work best, even AdGuard DNS has Non-filtering servers, and so do Control D and Quad9.
Make sure to change both IPV4 and IPV6, or even disable IPV6, if needed. I disable IPV6 for long periods.
Try sites like or other DNS check sites.
      Code:
      https://surfshark.com/dns-leak-test or https://ipleak.net/
I have to assume the purchase was more than several months ago, so no refund from SF or your CC provider. Now, maybe if you hound SF support, saying it can no longer be used might work and need a refund now, but not much of a chance, but anything is worth trying.

We have thousands and thousands of users, and only 2, at best, are known to have had this issue.
Why can't SF support try changing your account, or at least running a full check on your account?
And again would love to know the ISP if my memory is right, I want to say it was Verizon. If they block for you, they would block for all Verizon customers.
And the forum and SF support would be in a sh!t storm.
It is more likely it can even be a port block issue, maybe have Verizon swap out their internet device and ask them about opening ports?
Thankfully, my modem/router from Xfinity opens any port needed for my software to work.
I know my ISP knew or suspected torrent use, back in the day, which required ports to be open, VPN or socks5 proxy fixed that. Haha
Also, certain activities with streamfab, like authorizing and YouTube, you need tcp and ucp ports open.

Also, you may need to open up your Windows firewall and antivirus, and it must be Windows Firewall and Windows antivirus (Windows antivirus is also known as Windows Defender). To see if tcp & udp ports are open for Streamlab, although my Windows 11 Pro setup prompts to allow streamfab.
But there are times it can stop doing that.
Malwarebytes is the only other one I use, and no issues with it.

ADDED NOTE: I don't even nor can change my DNS in the modem/router, you can change it in the network device in Windows 11/10 Pro.

ADDED #2, do you know someone who is nearby, vet tech-savvy, and can look at your computer and set up?
Also, do you know either a service, or like me, lucky enough, I signed up for $10/ month through my Dell computer, and they will first remotely diagnose my computer and if a no-go, they will send someone. I only needed remote service for a disappearing network interface. Luckily, I had wireless, or I would have been in trouble and just had to use phone and remote service, and then maybe have to have them send someone.

Things can't be fully accomplished without proper access.
Things need to be done with active moderatoration.

Disclaimer: Use of a VPN can NOT be fixed by StreamFab staff or members.

One thought crossed my mind, but I doubt very much it is the cause. Based on your profile, it appears you are located in the US. I'm really not one to discuss politics openly. As almost everyone knows, since the last US election, China and the US are not getting along all that well. Alright, I'm going to ask it... is it possible that your ISP is run by a bunch of right wing MAGA thugs, and they have blocked all connections with China? Can you connect with any other Chinese sites?

My thoughts too Cats4U and it wouldn't be the first time the US, an ally (or a company in the same) has blocked access to certain Chinese websites and/or servers.

Changing DNS does nothing, dns is changed in router and on my computer even with firewalls off same.

I think you just actually helped me fix my problem, long story. I can across this post where they user was being blocked from sites with Verizon and in the comments, they referred him to mxtoolbox to check for blacklist so that what I did. after doing this is had seen that my geo location was based in China which was alarming to me so the first thing i did was go into my router settings and change my IPv6 configuration to none and applied. I went back to the list check site and ran it threw again, this time it had my correct location decided to give SF another shot and boom connects to server.

I figured out exactly what the problem was, IPv6 was being prioritized which is why it wouldn't connect to the servers. If anyone has this issue in the future they should open cmd and prioritize IPv4 to IPv6 without having to disable IPv6 in network settings.
