Paramount - When the fixing for this in regard to limited resolution and DRM update?

Having lot of problems with Paramount such as subtitled missing, limited to lower resolution and DRM related issued. So when the fix going to happen for this since I don't hear any mention on this area. Thanks.

Helpful to share what version of the app you're using, and also an example title you are unable to download properly

There are issues with Paramount+, and I think that's what OP is referring to.
      Here > https://forum.dvdfab.cn/forum/stream...h-audio-chosen and Here > https://forum.dvdfab.cn/forum/stream...nt-and-netflix.

Although neither seems to talk about subtitle missing.

(NOTE: Due to some upgrade for Paramount+,
new videos can only be downloaded in a maximum resolution of 540p.
We are still investigating this issue.)

As to if/when that may or may not be fixed is only known by the SF developer.

Things can't be fully accomplished without proper access.
Things need to be done with active moderatoration.

Disclaimer: Use of a VPN can NOT be fixed by StreamFab staff or members.

Ah, right. I now remember this is why I switched to using P+ via Amazon, which has no issues (for me at least).

Using anything via Amazon is a bad idea at this time.

He's the only one to have never received the warning message and now the new versions shouldn't trigger them so he seems to be in the clear.

He's much braver than me... So far in 2025, I have ordered 127 times from Amazon Canada. Can't afford to lose my account, so I am using a throwaway one.

I've been lucky. No warning messages. However, I space out my downloads by only doing it once a week or so

Not for me. I have a business and personal account, pay to subscribe to many channels, spend $50K a year with Amazon US, and don't do "obvious" pir8-things. I don't rent and rip and never watch; I don't use VPNs, I don't use fake emails or accounts or anonymous payment methods or free email accounts ; I don't login from fake locales not matching verified billing address; I don't sign up for multiple trials then cancel; I watch a hella lot via Amazon, not just rip and run. I buy stuff on Amazon video, and my account is tied ot movies everywhere bluray purchases.

Amazon tracks behaviors and the more "whack" you do, you were more likely to get "whacked."

I'm also "middle age" and have been customer since they only sold books (!).

However, all that nonsense being said, I also practice some pattern recognition practices:
                  a) I watch 100 hours of actual Amazon stuff on my AppleTV box if I download 100 hours of content from all my subs. By watching a lot of hours of stuff from my IP, my account, my location, etc., I am "weighting" the algorithm in favor of watch time more than download time.
                  b) I listen to music on more than one Amazon music device before I download stuff with Mfab. Again, my listen time exceeds my download time.
                  c) I don't over do downloads in one day. Few at a time. My download times are usually different from my watch times.
                  d) as noted above, I have a fully verified, trackable account, so nothing suspicious or trying to "game" Amazon by sighing for multiple trial periods or discounts.

Nothing against what others practice; I used to do a lot of edge things up until about 2005. I am fairly low risk due to the fact I am totally verified multiple ways via Amazon. As with anything in tech, your mileage will vary. "Be careful out there."

simchris.....yup, that's what I do. Buy movies/dvds and download stuff spaced out over time. Usually no more than once or twice a week. Seems to work.

I mention missing SRT files here. (post #14) and Germana confirmed it.

I have noticed over the last few days issues that I have not experienced before. With Netflix (old & newer titles) the DL resolution is quite low. All lower than 720p. If it does have a higher resolution then it is only HDR10 or Dolby Vision which I have difficulty playing over Emby. Paramount+ the DL resolution is quite

Ok, I missed that. The main point is SF is very tight-lipped on what they are updating and what they are not. So if/when an update comes for Paramount+ is unknown.
It seems they are aware of the issues but don't seem to have a fix.

All that can be done is watch the update logs, looking for fixes for Paramount. Nothing has been said other than:
(NOTE: Due to some upgrade for Paramount+,

My view is that this might also be affecting other features for the SF Paramount module. Again, whether it gets fixed and if it does, when, only the developer knows.
