You can't download "coming soon" episodes them yet anyway ..
.. only 16 episodes are available and all are selectable - so what?
Well, that's the last time I try to explain another user's issue. But those "coming soon" shows you talk about should not show as downloadable in SF or any other program. If you do a select all, SF will attempt to download something when it gets to them.

I don't care either as far as SF because I won't use it on Amazon. I may look into contacting the other program I use now for Amazon that won't work because of the change, or they may release a fix before I do. They are usually very fast to fix Amazon issues.

ADDED: Ok, never mind, the other program is already fixing the issue.

Ok, so what is the theory then? If SF tries to download not yet available episodes, then a trigger goes of? Otherwise I don't understand why this has anything to do with the topic at hand.

It would be great to have a comprehensive list (just a number) of people who downloaded stuff from Amazon after the bespoken "patch" and their experiences thereafter. That would be helpful I think.

I really don't know. I thought I was helping by clarifying what the original poster who started this was referring to. It does seem that's what they are alluding to, that may yet be another trigger for Amazon. But I have stated is it really worth it to continue speculating what may or may not be causing the warnings, as only Amazon knows what they are targeting. And sometimes I even doubt that, as it's most likely a bot that was set for specific activity, and there is no way it's 100% correct in targeting so many accounts. I now know it was not helpful, and I won't intervene and try to read others' minds

But instead, I got the heat for what someone else is speculating. I do see this current issue with Amazon as a problem and may or may not get addressed in a future version of SF. As I said in a previous post, I no longer use SF for Amazon. So if it doesn't get fixed, it doesn't bother me.
I end up just keeping asking myself why anyone even risks doing anything on Amazon via SF, if Amazon is so shortsighted to issue so many warnings, as many pay for the other add-ons to other providers, and I know many canceled those, so they just lost some revenue. But they will make up any lost revenue with higher prices and a good chance of raising the price of prime membership, more ads in the current library of videos, and shows, etc.

And if that poster does want the issue fixed, I agree this is not the topic; a new topic should be made explaining in detail by the poster, with screenshots, that's the issue. SF should not even show or allow the selection of videos unavailable for download. SF has in the past managed to block SF from displaying them because others got errors selecting unavailable videos and sending them to the download queue to be downloaded, and then SF tries to download them.

Stan001 Could you please message me what other program you are referring to?
          Thanks,

In fact, I don't understand what trying to download episodes that aren't available yet has to do with the email problem.

I think we should stop speculating...

I'll be subscribing to Disney for three months soon; they're currently running a promotion. Let's see if they can handle 100 a day!
NEVER use the update function within Streamfab. Always download the offline file!

Yeah, it would be nice to get some kind of number to maybe shock SF out of their denial that their "fix" stopped the Amazon notices, which we now see is not true.

What did cut back the notices is that most of the active users of SF stopped downloading from Amazon with SF.
Many waited and slowly started back to downloading, hoping to stay under the Amazon radar
Thus, the notices picked up again.

Really need a dbase/excel spreadsheet of user alias, amazon country (DE,US,UK, etc.), country, VPN/-yes/no/which, fake account/real, junk payment/real payment, download only, watch and download, rip rentals/no rip rentals, repeated trial signups with fake accounts/yes/no.

9 months of zero issues here. I kinda have my behaviors all as legit as I can make them.

Yeah, again, no one knows for sure any method that's 100% safe other than not using streamfab. I never had issues either, and I used the Amazon downloader for a long time.
In some ways, I was lucky as I was only downloading 1 or 2 shows, and they went into a break before this first started.
So it seems Amazon may not have any evidence of me downloading with StreamFab, as I never got a notice.
And if the penalty was not so severe that I could even risk a ban, I would try to download again, as I never rented anything from Amazon, so then I could not download anything rented.
I never ever used a VPN; they can be detected too easily. It would be interesting if I got a notice if I tried a few downloads, but not willing to risk it as I order too much stuff from Amazon.

I am considering cancelling the Prime membership as I really don't get the packages that much faster now, like it was some years back with Prime delivery.
But at the same time, I am trying other programs, and they have yet to send up any warning signals to Amazon. So right now, canceling will have to wait.

Others should cancel as well, as if you can't download, what's the point? It's crazy because people are willing to pay the prime membership and want to download, and Amazon balks at them.
But I have seen a huge influx of pirating again, as there are those who use other methods to do webrips from Amazon and pirate the webrips to others (meaning making it available to download other ways, like torrents or other means). And then what does Amazon really gain with the increase in the pirating of their content?

Also, it's getting to feel like a long, extended, never-ending nightmare with these notices.

I also wanted to add, looking at this topic, it currently only has 82 posts, and not all are people saying they got notices, so it's just another confusing fact. Even if it was all 82, that's not much compared to the number of Amazon members.

Totally agree. I have only been chiming in to show "still here" as far as Amazon downloads go for me as sort of counterpoint to "sky is falling, we're all doomed" from relatively small number of people, and majority seem to be related to amazon.co.uk (iirc). I use PRIME all the time, for my self and business, but I'm close to a secondary "get it quicker" warehouse, and can get my case of catfood next morning when I suddenly run out, or my cat no longer likes the 'blue' can (he's 16 now...). So, like you, I can't afford to do without PRIME, but so far I'm staying on the "clean" side of behaviors, so really not worried. I'm also DL'd for personal use, not launching a Chinese fake Blu-ray business. I can only imagine what some folks are doing.

In any case, would be nice to get back to nonstop bitching about clearing the cache (LOL). **kidding**

                    Peace out!

It's not that simple. In Poland Amazon Prime is dirt cheap - and it has to be - otherwise no one would use Amazon at all (as they are competing with local Allegro services - infinitely more popular there than eBay or Amazon). The price for Prime is below $14 per year - and Prime Video is added as a free bonus on top of that.

The 'point' is that Prime Video is just a free bonus on top of free/fast deliveries from Amazon.

So, it strongly depends on the country you are in. Maybe then - their fight with SF would also depend on the location?
