This is well known issue with Netflix ... certain studio content won't download in 1080p. I ran into this with 28 Years Later and Groundhog Day. Sadly, have to wait until the titles hit another streaming service like Universal's Peacock network (etc.).
I don't get Netflix via Prime video. I don't rent/rip on Prime. Groundhog Day and 28 Years Later are not included with PRIME in the U.S. unless purchased.
As I stated for those having issues on Netflix not getting 1080p, you have to wait for the title to hit another streaming service where 1080p is supported. E.g., Universal films will be on Peacock (owned by Universal) in 1080p at some point.
Are they trying to crack the encryption for those companies at HD, or are they just saying "it is what it is"? Not being disrespectful, just want to know if we should even hope.
