Test version for UHD Drive Tool

Is there a test version of "UHD Drive Tool"?

I can only find the version where you have to pay before you can test it.

Pretty sure the "free trial" version of it just tells you whether or not your drive is supported but doesn't actually let you flash it. There's no way for it to do a temporary flash for testing and most people only need to use it once so to allow one free flash would be like giving it away for free. You would download a free trial of DVDFab to see if your drive is supported. Its listed under the "Launchpad" section, under "Utilities".

I was (wrongly) assuming that the Tool is doing it's magic on the fly. But it's actually flashing the drive's firmware, just like you said.
