Germania .. clicked “Download Now” and it looks like sign out for me.
But it’s only because it change to tv.apple.com (us)
if I add the country code of my account country I’m logged in
I wondered why it doesn’t work, but as I see you guys already found the issue. SF does not handle the regions (or rather, the URL language codes) correctly. When I click onto the Apple TV button on the SF Home-tab, it just opens Apple TV without any region code (like /de) attached. It works when I manually open the /de site, but after adding something to the queue, it defaults back to the site without any code. And when I start the download, you can see how it opens the video, but using the /us code. (Just as you already noticed)
While I understand it might just be an oversight, I cannot see where the /us is coming from, since I used the /de site to analyse and add the video, and SF itself opens the site without using any code.
Just in case someone can already answer it here, otherwise I will open a new thread: Does SF only support things that are included in the subcription? Because it can only analyse things that are included, but not the two movies I bought.
I cannot play them in the browser either and the crappy Apple TV app doesn’t work, it keeps asking me to log in without giving any errors afterwards.
Nevertheless, cool to see that 4k is now supported. I was about to open a new thread, since the Apple TV module was advertised with 4k support, but it only offered me 360×862. (FYI: I never used Apple TV before, and could only find a few old threads, so if Apple was SD only due to DRM issues, I don’t know that.)
