    Edit Movie Server Database manually

Is there a way to edit the Movie Server local database manually? I ripped Seasons 1 and 2 of "The Expanse" and disc 1 of season 2 ended up in with season 1 when the movie server refreshes the database.

In addition, even after updating the meta info, I do not get the proper episodes for each season listed on the server. Any help appreciated.

There has to be a cached database on the server because I removed a title using the mserver interface and re-ripped the exact same disc back onto the server. It remained removed from the server even though it was a fresh rip.

For TV show rips...none of the episodes I've set up in the meta info get used.

Alternatively, is there a way to reset the database without resetting the entire the device?

What do you mean by "...ends up with season1..."? An episode from a completely different disc shows up with the episodes from season 1 disc ? How does it show on the poster wall, is there one icon or one for each season? If it has a small blue circle in the upper right corner of the poster (with a white number), it is storing it as a compilation.

            I posted a screenshot above.

"The Expanse" Season 1 has a total of nine episodes on two discs. In the screenshot, that is one image per disc, but the second item on the list is actually disc 1 from Season 2.

I ended up clearing the app data and that reset the database. Having edited the individual meta.info files that get created along with the ISO, the server organized the episodes in an acceptable manner.

I'm having similar problems,,,this compilation that server is intent on doing is creating a mess. For example, the movies The Girl with ...Tattoo, Kicked...Nest, wih Fire, etc all appearing with same poster within major poster. I can't tag them to tell which movie is which. Suggestions? Thanks

Please start your own thread next time.

You can "Uncollect" titles easily using the techniques shown in these captures.
                    • First, use the browser in your PC to connect to Media Server. Enter XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX:32080 into the browser address bar, where XXX is the IP address of your Movie Server
                    • Then follow the steps show below.

This page will open, take the steps shown:
Click image for larger version Name:	1-011 UNCOLLECT1.png Views:	1 Size:	255.6 KB ID:	340235
                    • The next screen will appear as shown:

Click image for larger version Name:	1-011 UNCOLLECT2.png Views:	1 Size:	80.4 KB ID:	340236
                    • Do this for each movie in the collection, that's all there is to it.

Thank you. It doesn't seem to apply to TV series. Correct?

...and it does not work if films are not shown there! There is an error if you add them manually on the hard drive ... for example, I've added 3 iso files:

new update (1.0.0.5), same issue. It should be a good idea to be able to edit the meta info file or some infos about disk/season/chapters/etc. for collections. It seems to be base on the name of the file. Example, POIROT_S01_1 is OK but POIROT_S01_BR1 is not...
