    Scaping Logs

Is there any way to see why the scraper is simply ignoring several directories of files? A log or something? I'd like to know what is going on, since I have a sub-directory under DVDFab/TV Shows on an external hard drive that does not show up in TV Shows, or Videos, or anywhere. How can I discover what it is trying to do?

It will ignore the files in any folder that contains a .nomedia file, so check for that. There have been some known issues in the past with TV series content, but I'm not sure what the status of it is currently and I don't think it was ignoring the content, it just did not place it correctly as I recall. The DMS logs are a maze and one of the developers would have to tell you where to look. If you click the Feedback button on the Settings->About page, DMS will send the logs to the developers.

There is a thread for reporting scraping errors and problems, please post in that and supply the information requested in post #1: https://forum.dvdfab.cn/forum/dvdfab...-error-reports

The whole thing is a maze and a mess. It just ignored an entire directory. I finally ended up moving it into a new directory under TV Shows, and it found it. Of course, somehow, the database doesn't know about M*A*S*H (the series, not the movie) so I can't DO anything with them. Also, is there any hope of giving us the ability to change something that was marked as a movie back to a TV show? Some of mine were auto-classified wrong. And don't get me started on their matching algorithm.

You should be able to edit the metadata for a particular title in 1) the DMS web manager at dms.dvdfab.cn for firmware v1.0.1.2 or later or 2) the local network manager, at [xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:32080] where the x= the IP address of your DMS box, for firmware prior to v1.0.1.2 (e.g. v1.0.1.0).

I can't. Once it goes into the Movies section, you can't move it. Select a movie in the Movies section and click "Fix Match". You will see that you don't get the TV Show tab. Basically, all I want to do is get the same matching screen that you get in videos.

Stop using 1012 and downgrade to 1010 for now
